Okay so question(s) regarding the ending. Ill say it in cap locks casue it pissed me off.

WHY DID THEY ****ING GO TO ILOS AND USE THE CONDUIT TO GET TO THE CITADEL. AND WHY/HOW DID THE CITADEL MOVE TO EARTH? AND HOW WAS TIM CONTROLLING SHEPARD AND ANDERSON AT THE END?

Didn't the ILos conduit collapse due to the power failure?  I just figured it was one of those "You're never getting it running again" things.

I don't think it's ever said that the conduit is offline, vigil is said to have powered down but I don't think the conduit itself was ever mentioned. I guess you're supposed to assume that if vigil was offline so was the conduit. It seems we're supposed to assume a lot of things about the ending.

Alert: Someone with a twitter needs to respond to a comment by ME

The exhange:
@masseffect @jheckholdt There are 3 different color endings with minor variations between them. Let's not pretend otherwise for now, k?

@billybrinks But what about the journey that it took to reach them?

Obviously the ending alters a lot of people's feelings and experiences to the point that many don't want to play through it again. And why would the ending really matter if we get the same ending with small differences? I don't think they get it....

Anyway, if someone does respond to this I would really appreciate! As would other fans I am sure.

I did respond to it. No answer yet.

Thanks! Hopefully you will!

I love it when people say " what about the Journey"?  Well, what about it?

Its now ruined, becuase I got screwed in the end by a star child. Do they really think that we want to go back an relive everythng that made the game great, only to suffer at the end?

I'm sorry, but I'm not a masochistic. :pinched:

That almost screams new Endings on the way. Still not completely sure but hey some hope on that. Util they tell us a date and tell us that the ending allows our choices to count....

Good, I was going to try and post it, and I would have done a terrible job that probably linked to a toaster or something.

Just remember people, keep things civil. We're trying to offer constructive feedback to the devs. We don't want to be ignored because we're being arrogant sooks. We want to be heard because we're being level headed fans that want to see something amazing come out of the ashes of a terrible ending!

One concern related to this: There's no proper search function on these forums. Let's hope the devs can search for specific keywords, etc., because otherwise they won't even bother looking at this 1200+ page behemoth.

Since there's no proper search function, it's impossible to give occasional summaries of the main points raised. I guess the best thing is to direct them to the Ross Lincoln article; it's by far the best articulation of the problem so far.

I've noticed a TON of articles written by game journalists saying that fans are wasting their time hoping for a new ending (most of which I've noticed were from Kotaku). Then there are other articles that argue that the ending is something we should all just deal with. My favorite, that I'm sure many of you have probably already read, said that Bioware should not try to appease "A vocal minority" (http://kotaku.com/58...?tag=masseffect)

Vocal minority? Because they think the majority of people like the endings, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary? I also like in that article, at the very end, where they say that it's "amazing how unhappy people choose to be at a leisure pursuit". Isn't it the same as people being unhappy that their favorite team loses a sporting event? Or what about all those people that were unhappy with Star Wars prequels? Suddenly it's wrong for people to be unhappy about something that in its very nature should bring people joy and a temporary distraction from the real world?

Bioware is a company and bottom line is they need to make a profit. If they put out sub-par products, they should expect that their profits would go down. It is in the best interest of private companies to listen to what their supporters have to say and fix things so they don't lose those supporters. Bottom line, end of story.

So little creepy kid's model is listed as "Harbringer"?

If this is real, then wow. That explains why Anderson acted so weirdly when you were talking to it in the vents.

If you didnt' get the Mako through the conduit you auto-failed cause it collapsed though, the entire final seconds were "It's collapsing" and stuff.

I think what bothers me most id why the heck is the Normandy in Relay Space in the first place? They really needed a cut scene of something. Like Joker notifying him/her that they got their 2 crew members off of earth and giving Shepard a choice to tell him to take everyone home as fast as he can (especially if the choice was going to destroy the relays). it would also give the LI a last goodbye from that point as well. hm Maybe I should twitter that to them?

I really like this bit of what he said:

The community has been articulate, considerate, and for the most part extremely respectful and smart with how it is providing its feedback. And a large portion of those dissatisfied with the ME3 endings are cautioning others to keep the criticism constructive, to be respectful to the developers, and to remain civil in their arguments. I appreciate that a great deal, and I thank you and the rest of our community for that.

Were being noticed:wizard:

To be honest I don't expect devs to read this behemoth which is unfortunate because there have been many valid arguments and I would suggest you send them directly to the devs. I don't know if twitlonger.com has a limit but hey it's worth a shot. I think this thread has become the home base for a lot of people that feel lost after the ending. Yes it helps us organize and sort out our thoughts, share our ideas and hopes but in the end I think it's more about us than them. We're helping each other while we try to make them help us. We stand together and we hold the line.
