Does anyone think the timer on the Baldur's Gate website has anything to do with this...I hear it was a Bioware game?

Actually, y'know what, that was stupid of me. Sorry :\\

official response of bioware, about the ending, on this thread

That almost screams new Endings on the way. Still not completely sure but hey some hope on that. Util they tell us a date and tell us that the ending allows our choices to count....

Hold the Line no matter what!

I really like this bit of what he said:

The community has been articulate, considerate, and for the most part extremely respectful and smart with how it is providing its feedback. And a large portion of those dissatisfied with the ME3 endings are cautioning others to keep the criticism constructive, to be respectful to the developers, and to remain civil in their arguments. I appreciate that a great deal, and I thank you and the rest of our community for that.

Were being noticed:wizard:

I wish I worked Call Support for Bioware next time his computer crashes.  I can just imagine the "Are you listening?! My computer's on fire!" "Thank you for your feedback, we're listening to everyone!"

When I have a problem with my product I usually get a response from Customer Service... so frankly yes, they are obligated to respond, maybe not to me directly.. but whatever, entitlement from a corporation is the quickest way to lose your main demographic, your customers.

Oh, I feel for you, trust me.

Still, better to crush something fake than cling to it and be disappointed later.

I still believe though, that Harbinger = kid. It makes perfect sense:

Harbinger: You have failed. We will find another way.

Considering we almost never see him in ME3, this line from ME2 makes a lot of sense.

I think what bothers me most id why the heck is the Normandy in Relay Space in the first place? They really needed a cut scene of something. Like Joker notifying him/her that they got their 2 crew members off of earth and giving Shepard a choice to tell him to take everyone home as fast as he can (especially if the choice was going to destroy the relays). it would also give the LI a last goodbye from that point as well. hm Maybe I should twitter that to them?

what bothers me more is anderson said he went into the beam up to the citadel after i did, theres no way he got up there after i did and if he did he would of seen me, and there is clearly only one path that leads to that control panel, and the fact he looked completely unharmed

That's legit, that model is in that pack and it's named like that.

What pack are we talking about?

Two articles (if you consider a video an article) which I think really pointed out the major issues people were having with the ends rather well, unlike a fair chunk of other media articles. I haven't really been following the thread much because I check every couple days and there are 400 new pages so I don't know if these have already been posted but it's god to see that there are people willing to explain our frustration without reverting to infantile tactics (e.g. IGN editor Colin whatshisface).

Alert: Someone with a twitter needs to respond to a comment by ME

The exhange:
@masseffect @jheckholdt There are 3 different color endings with minor variations between them. Let's not pretend otherwise for now, k?

@billybrinks But what about the journey that it took to reach them?

Obviously the ending alters a lot of people's feelings and experiences to the point that many don't want to play through it again. And why would the ending really matter if we get the same ending with small differences? I don't think they get it....

Anyway, if someone does respond to this I would really appreciate! As would other fans I am sure.

I love it when people say " what about the Journey"?  Well, what about it?

Its now ruined, becuase I got screwed in the end by a star child. Do they really think that we want to go back an relive everythng that made the game great, only to suffer at the end?

I'm sorry, but I'm not a masochistic. :pinched:

Exactly!! Someone in a response summed it up perfectly:

"@masseffect /stealing this: If you are driving a car, and that car is going off a cliff, you really don't care about the awesome scenery."

Curiously, as we can see from the other topic where Mr. Woo is answering some fans, BW is still holding on to the idea that just a vocal minority is complaining about the ending.

It goes like that: I was once in a course that, by the end of the semester, in the last minute of a Saturday morning class, handed out "satisfaction polls". Of course, most everybody just marked "satisfied" (the first option) quickly to go enjoy the beach (here in Rio).

But everybody in the class had problems with some very obvious flaws. When you talked to them, everybody agreed about some pretty bad flaws. But when you talked to the people who supposedly took care of it, they just grabbed the polls and said: "sorry, but the majority of the people is totally satisfied with the course. You are just a vocal minority".

It gets to this: you can dance around it as much as you want. You can grab polls and comments from people that just don´t care to complaint, or won´t play time and again (maybe they are already playing another game). But you can´t hide from the fact that there are problems, and a BIG part of loyal fans, those who usually bring more fans into it, is deeply unsatisfied.

Throw satisfaction polls as much you want. But deep inside everyone knows that there are problems with this. No other thing ever got this attention or united so many fans around it.

For what it's worth, Jessica Merizan seemed to imply that the relay destruction in ME3 didn't destroy the entire system. So that's a little comfort.

I agree. That plot hole also needs to fixed. even if another hallway was added to the back mapping or something. It would explain somethings. Like since he was zapped into another place it would mean that he was closer to the main panel.

:blink:Galaxy cruiser-class ship sized  plot holes in these endings. Not to mention the endings themselves:?

It's basic maths. 4+5, 27/3, 3^2 and 11-2. The answer is going to be 9 regardless of the journey, so why does the journey matter if you know you'll always hit the same result?

So now that we have a DLC ending rumor going around...if Bioware doesn't deny it, I am going to assume they are going to release one. I mean, why would they not deny it if it's false? To give us false hopes? It will only make the situation worse.

To be honest I don't expect devs to read this behemoth which is unfortunate because there have been many valid arguments and I would suggest you send them directly to the devs. I don't know if twitlonger.com has a limit but hey it's worth a shot. I think this thread has become the home base for a lot of people that feel lost after the ending. Yes it helps us organize and sort out our thoughts, share our ideas and hopes but in the end I think it's more about us than them. We're helping each other while we try to make them help us. We stand together and we hold the line.

I like thinking of this thread as a sort of staging area for all of us. It is a location where we come to gather information and let others understand what we are thinking and feeling. It can be used as an impressive number to show exactly how large of a scale we are operating on, but to think specific post will be read by those in charge is unreasonable. Use this as a way to gather your thoughts and calm down before expressing your discontent with the develpers on a more personal level. Hold the line.

The vocal minority answer is a total cop out. If it was a minority, then why are the forums filled with " bad ending topics", or why are websites like Forbes, etc writing articles about this so called minority? They would bother if that was the case.
