Yeah hey... vocal minority: They announced they sold 1.3 million copies of ME3 this week, already 45,000 people have voted that they don't like it, maybe 1000 more haven't voted and said so on here, using industry standard rule of 10 people for every 1 that complains that'd be 466,000 people didn't like it, or about 35% of everyone who BOUGHT the game, not finished but BOUGHT the game. The polls on the web with a massive margin of error they were 96 to 4... margin of error of even 20% still makes it 76%...

Yeah we may be a minority using the hard numbers, but we're your most loyal minority, the ones who would have stood with you through thick or thin, and you've been told you disappointed us, and are now basically ignoring those who don't say what you want to hear. You know where we stand. I refuse to buy any further Bioware, or EA products. I'm planning to consult with my investment manager at my bank to ensure that none of my money goes to EA stock. I am disappointed in the response.. Pretty much the only person who I appreciate here was the Community Manager, the Jessica one on twitter.. she didn't even speak here.. but whatever.

I'm holding the line. Angrily holding it now.

I can make a poll saying that there is mice on mars that have four legs. Does that make it true?

Your are comparing facts of nature to opinions.  By definition an accurate poll produces the truth of the break down of opinions.  No matter what the outcome.

Sorry, but that is FAR from a new rule haha

Sorry, I tried making a new rule that was civil in content.  Where is Bill Maher when you need him?

From Stanley Woo:

"BioWare listens to all feedback when we release games. Not just those praising our games, and not just those who have issues and concerns with our games. We don't listen only to our community, or only to popular websites. Even if we don't respond immediately or to your satisfaction, BioWare appreciates its fanbase--all of it, even the part of it taking a break from BioWare games--and the feedback it provides. We will not always agree, and you will not always like what we do, but that's not going to stop us from striving to do better in the future. And we hope that, like us or not, you will come along for the ride because, hey, we might make something you'll really like next time. You are always welcome."

I'm not super familiar with the BW hierarchy, so if someone would fill me in on if this is a pr guy or someone on the rev side of the house I would be much obliged.

Even if i admire the gesture, i find it kind of ironic that we are giving to Child's play, and that one of the most hated thing (other then closure and nonsense plotholes) about the ending is the Future Child's random appearance. BioWare/Penny Arcade conspiracy?

I'm not serious, of course, just something i thought of that seemed a bit funny. Weird sense of humour, i know.

Wouldn't matter they wouldn't respond even if you could throw all the spoilery evidence at them. They're information gathering right now. To quote Legion they're building a consensus you have to give them time before they can respond properly to you.

I know, but what I meant was that they know we can't talk about the ending in details (we can't complain WHY we didn't like it, because that would be spoiling), so the conversation will go no where. Not that they would answer us here, but there we can't complain either.

Same, but his hands are tied along with all of Biowares till Japans launch. Not justified but still thats why. They should answer now because of how big this has gotten and the price drops.

We shouldn't seek to "complain" we should explain our point of view. We want to make them understand not only that yes we are dissatisfied but why we are and why we want a change.

I'm signing off for the night. My sleep patterns have been buggered since I completed it. I get visions of Tali waiting for her dashing Commander to come and take her back to the homeworld...

Night all.

The game did launch in Japan. It is March 15th there. This might explain why someone decided to show up. But they won't say anything, because it's "too soon" <_<

I work in politics, so I'm not going to start arguing with you about polls. My point was that you can find a poll to support your argument or any argument for that matter, it doesn't mean that its accurate.  To base an argument solely on a poll is a straw man fallacy.

I also picked this up from another thread...

The thing I simply don't like, is how some questions are easily dodged by the game producers or paraphrased and changed to their own advantage. This is a part of general marketing I never liked. Not saying they should do this or should do that, but it frustrates me personally to no end. Clearly, BSN has a hardcore fanbase for every games made by the separate teams of this company... It would be fun sometimes to feel the trust and love from the developers instead of being treated like strangers. Oh, but don't mind me... I'm just being paranoid, like usual.

The community treats us like trusted buddies when things are rosy and there are no problems. When issues come up, they want OFFICIAL DEFINITE CORPORATE ANSWERS. Not that there's anything wrong with that, because we act the same way. When it's just us chatting about this or that, you'll find people like me or John or Priestly to be fun and informative. When issues come up, as devSin implied, the same kinds of official responses are presented.

As long as you are aware of why this happens, and can accept some measure of disappointment when soliciting us for OFFICIAL ANSWERS, everything should be fine.

For what I have been able to read in between the lines, it says:

"We are hearing you people complaining about it, but we don't understand why all this frustration. But if you have a problem with that, don' t worry, just keep buying our products and everything will be fine"

and from the second post:

"We love talking to you about the games, rainbows and unicorns, but don't ask us anything serious, because we just don't care enough to give you a proper answer.."

I might be wrong, but that's just how I was able to perceive it. Maybe I am biased, but who knows...
