The one comment I didn't like of Stanley's is how he dismissed us as a minority because our poll (with last time I checked had over 41,000 votes I think) isn't valid enough for them.
Let's try some simple math. Even if there are only 41 thousand of us, 41.000 x 50 (average from the game prices) adds to 2.050.000,00 (2 million and 50 thousand dollars). I think it should be enough to at least catch their attention...
If we use the stablish sampling system that states for each vote in the poll, we should account 10 votes (statistical sampling), instead of 2 millions, we would have 20 millions USD. And those from the people who already bought, played and finished the game.

BTW: If there is an ending DLC will the next megathread be "We held the line"?

Ok, so reading on another thread where your squadmates on the final mission are dead at your feet after Harby's beam if your EMS isn't high enough. My question is if anybody has a playthrough like that and noticed if those particular squadies get off of the Normandy? Would just be the icing on the plothole cake.
Happened to me. As if the shock from the ending was not enough, the Normandy running, and people who "died" coming out of it just left me staring at my screen for 10 minutes... Then I hit the forums to look for answers and haven't left yet.

That first answer made me want to punch a baby... I liked Jessica, actually I still like her, but really that answer is such a cop out.
@NPH11, thank you lol
Get away from my non-existent baby!
*Dives at non-existent baby with a rabidly foaming mouth--only to stop suddenly, realizing that baby is the next star child. I then promptly run away crying like a little girl.*

You don't know what a straw man is and I'm almost sure you don't work in "politics". We're not arguing whether or opinion is "accurate", we're arguing that it's an incredibly popular opinion and we're giving plenty of reasons to support it.

Basically Stan is saying there's going to be an announcement (probably tomorrow, which is no surprise since they were going to announce the multiplayer DLC tomorrow anyway). I'm hoping they announce something ending related or there's going to be a massive boycott of this DLC just on principle, and I hate to see all that good effort go to waste over an easily correctable problem.
It'd be very nice if there was an announcement that isn't terribly vague tomorrow. That would be very nice
I'll prepare for incomprehensibly vague and then terribly vague will be a pleasant surprise...

His response? He bothered to tweet me back to say only "And... block." What a schmuck. This guy's actually the public face of a charity?

I think stanley was stating that a poll from the forums is not accurate sampling from the entire population, and therefore, cannot be extrapolated to make that representation. Because of this, it must be viewed as the feelings of one specific demographic, and not the consumer base as a whole. From this, one could call this belief the minority view. It is slightly misleading to do so, because the opinions of the general gaming public remain at large.

I appreciate what you're saying but I'm saying that this is a very significant portion of their initial sales that DON'T like their product. That's all I'm saying, they keep trying to minimize it, and it's just irritating me more.
