I just typed "Mass Effect" in the search bar there and that's what I got.

You see, is really easy.

That one looks like a guy with his arms pointing to the sky, so it must mean "Jump". That other one... well... i'm sure i can't say here.

Haha, nice try.

Ok, so first off they are talking about the game play and the ending that apparently was leaked in Japan as well (I mean, anyone can find spoiler in US websites, seriously)
And they are not happy...not at all. They are even complaining about Mordin's death and how it should have never happened.

EDIT: they are also talking about EMS and trying to figure out how to keep Shepeard alive

With so many journalists talking about "entitlement" and spreading their ideas with the wider community, I just can't see how we can successfully retake mass effect. Bioware is a big old scary company, they can just ignore us if they want. They'll find new target markets for their games if they have to...

:'(

HOLD. THE. LINE. Never waver!

Keep holding the line until the day we can shout, "WE HELD THE LINE!"

I'll hold the line! The business/marketing student in me is telling me to give in though... Businesses get it wrong all the time. Their 'experiment' with an 'unforgettable' ending may very well be what they stand by in the long run...

www.youtube.com/watch

Start watching around the 10:50 mark. It goes into a very in-depth view of entitlement, and how we as gamers have every right to be entitled, if done properly.

This battle we are waging against these endings, and as an extension Bioware/EA, could be taken leagues further than our originally intended destination.

That and twitter.com/#!/JessicaMerizan/status/180128868273897472 kind of irk me just a bit. When I play a game I would like to have the end/conclusion presented to me. I don't want to have to analyze or have to break out the critical thinking skills. I just want to chill and enjoy the story... :(

I will not purchase another thing that has Bioware on it until they fix this. It's not so much the ending as it is their arrogance about putting out the ending THEY wanted. Yes, according to Casey Hudson this is what THEY wanted. Aren't you guys in the business of selling video games? Doesn't making a game that pleases your customers and generates buzz so that their friends want to buy it just good business? By the Goddess, even Forbes Magazine is saying you screwed the pooch business wise on this. And if not for the money, the fact that you claim "artistic license" is akin to someone forcing the director of a Christmas Pageant to put their no talent kid in the show because they own the building. You pulled the same type of thing with Dragon Age 2.

Casey Hudson also said that Bioware listens to its gamers. I certainly hope that is not just a statement to curry favor in the media. I hope that Bioware is not too arrogant to admit that they had this wrong. Quit being so in love with your own work and look at the issue from an objective standpoint. Please.

Worst ending of any genre since the Soprano's cut to black.

You would think that they learned something from DA2. Well when people stop buying their games maybe they will figure it out.

So, for everyone who was wondering how the Japanese people would react to ME3 ending:

http://toro.2ch.net/...331732383/1-100

The thread above is all in Japanese, BUT they are talking about how they feel like their choices didn't matter. They have always believed that ME was about "your choices and how it affects the universe" but in this one, they didn't choose the ending; someone else chose it for them and they had to accept it. They also think a lot of things aren't explained...

So basically they agree with us. Except it's in Japanese.

Just in case you see this Bioware.....

We wouldn't still be talking about all this if we didn't love so much about your games.

Thanks

We need to remember that businesses these days are always looking to "experiment", to analyse the periphery of their markets and try new things that others haven't done before. When it turns out to be a really bad idea, a.k.a the ME3 ending, the business can literally do whatever they want in response.

They could stand by it completely, say they were trying something new. They could admit failure, promising better in the future or changing their mistake. From their perspective as a developer that is backed by the world's largest publisher (Electronic Arts), I have a terrible feeling they will be sticking to their guns. The DLC we will get will most likely attempt to appease us with new stories or missions, not a retconned ending.

For them to change is to admit massive failure in quality assurance, market research and their inherent understanding of their consumers and their product.

I will hold the line!! But with a massive grain of salt to the DLC :S

I understand how some of (them / us) feel about Mordin, but: Mordin's was a good death. The situation was made urgent, his expertise was made vital. It's a cheap, easy way out to kill off a redshirt or a new, throwaway character that's never developed (Tosh or whatever his name was in The Mallorean... sigh, Eddings). I know it can't have been easy for the team to decide to kill Mordin, but in such dire circumstances, some loss is fitting. And Mordin's death was beautifully done. It had meaning, it fit well.

Contrasted, of course, with the pointless silly meaningless of this unquestioning Shepard who can choose to die and wreck everything, or die and wreck everything, or die and wreck everything.

No, I'm not happy with Mordin's death either on the "I like the guy" level, but I have no problem with it. A perfect exit. And it's *Mordin's* choice. Shepard's endings were neither Shepard's choice, nor mine.

Could someone with a twitter account point out to Miss Merizan that the current interpretation of the ending approach means that Bioware used false advertising in the weeks leading up to launch?  Casey Hudson promised a definitive ending.

What do you want me to tweet?

Point out Casey Hudson's many lies:

"There are many different endings. We wouldn’t do it any other way. How
could you go through all three campaigns playing as your Shepard and
then be forced into a bespoke ending that everyone gets? But I can’t say
any more than that…"

"Whether you're happy or angry at the ending, know this: it is an
ending. BioWare will not do a "Lost" and leave fans with more questions
than answers after finishing the game."

"I honestly think the player base is going to be really happy with the
way we've done it. You had a part in it. Every decision you've made will
impact how things go. The player's also the architect of what happens."

and of course:

Hold the line.

And in this case A = B = C...lovely.

Big difference between "unforgetable" and "unforgetably BAD"
