And yet they keep insisting that they are listening to their fan... I'm not going to believe that one till I see some kind of official announcment.

Most who buy DLC are the fans ... If Bioware does not adjust the ending, the fans are not buying DLC ... and ends as a DA2.
DA2? I didn't frequent the DA-forums so i am not aware of what happend to DA2 and its DLC content after the release, could you explain what happened there?

Morning. Just read the last few pages. People, get some sleep! There are enough people to stand watch without people doing all nighters.
Keep it civil. We may have to have a lot of patience, depending on what situations led to this ending. Broken Steel came out 6 months later was it? Anyone know when it was announced?
Speaking of patience and civility, can those going to PAX, assuming we haven't heard anything by then, keep an eye out and counter any uncivil moments? I'm actually very impressed at the amount of reason goin gon here, quite impressive for 'The Internet'.

It must pretty much suck to be you guys right now and having to deal with this.
I'm all right with it. The community has been articulate, considerate,
and for the most part extremely respectful and smart with how it is
providing its feedback. And a large portion of those dissatisfied with
the ME3 endings are cautioning others to keep the criticism
constructive, to be respectful to the developers, and to remain civil in
their arguments. I appreciate that a great deal, and I thank you and
the rest of our community for that.
I just hope that I can do my
little bit to convince you that, yes, we are listening and dispel at
least some of the "BioWare doesn't care fo this reason or that" type
comments. i've always said that we may not always be able to say what
you want to hear, or even respond all the time, but we are always
listening.

Where did you hear that Bioware wanted more time but EA held them to the release date? I'm interested! After all, they knew how to end a game, once.

In order to be honest, I find that claim hard to believe. ME3 looks perfectly polished, everything seems well rounded throughout the whole game, there are no signs to be seen that EA would have demanded an overhasty release of the game. (Compare ME3 to DA2, THAT game was rushed out indeed!)
Even the ending sequence, as abysmally bad as it is, doesn't seem rushed, they actually hired Buzz Aldrin as a voice actor for the stargazer, would it be rushed, the would just have picked some unknown guy to do it.
So in my book, this isn't the result of an unforgiving schedule, but solely the result of terrible writing.

They keep insisting they're listening to us, but waving us off with non-answers and snark. I hope that they realize that what we're doing isn't whiny or entitled; we're giving them a chance to fix what went wrong and keep our loyalty, instead of denied them our business forevermore.

It's uncomfirmed but it actually kinda makes sense, seeing as rEApers would gladly sacrifice story for MP wich is the case this article talks about.

I know it hasn't been 10 pages yet(well maybe it has, but I'm so tried right now I can't count) Thought people could use a dose of humor to keep them going.
Hold the line.

This thread moves so fast it's hard to keep track of when anything was said. And that pic is still making me laugh. I think even my Paragon Shep would take the Renegade option at this point.

It's not too bad for me. I work overnights most of the time, so being up at night is what I'm used to.
Civility will get noticed much more than people just ranting, that's for sure. I've always stood by that argument. I'm just hoping things don't degenerate as time passes and word doesn't come. Here's to hoping we'll get some sort of official statement soon.
