Just something funny I remmebered now. In a preview a couple of months back Casey Hudson talked how they could make a lot of different endings since they didn't need to lead up to another Mass Effect.

So, what was that about very different endings.

And yet they keep insisting that they are listening to their fan... I'm not going to believe that one till I see some kind of official announcment.

I already stated numerous times (even to Mr. Woo last night) that the usual PR tactics may not cut it this time... I guess they dismissed my claims.^^

Morning. Just read the last few pages. People, get some sleep! There are enough people to stand watch without people doing all nighters.

Keep it civil. We may have to have a lot of patience, depending on what situations led to this ending. Broken Steel came out 6 months later was it? Anyone know when it was announced?

Speaking of patience and civility, can those going to PAX, assuming we haven't heard anything by then, keep an eye out and counter any uncivil moments? I'm actually very impressed at the amount of reason goin gon here, quite impressive for 'The Internet'.

Most who buy DLC are the fans ... If Bioware does not adjust the ending, the fans are not buying DLC ... and ends as a DA2. ;)

DA2? I didn't frequent the DA-forums so i am not aware of what happend to DA2 and its DLC content after the release, could you explain what happened there?

Bioware has made only 1 DLC weapons / armor, 1 story spin off ...
then bioware has forgotten the game. (DA1: 5 dlc story + retail expansion)
If Michael Gamble said "if you knew what we have in mind for ME3" ... Well probably not have anything except the idea of sharing with ME4 Image IPB

Because? "We can not finish the game with the choices ABC" ... it is seen!!!!! Image IPB

They keep insisting they're listening to us, but waving us off with non-answers and snark. I hope that they realize that what we're doing isn't whiny or entitled; we're giving them a chance to fix what went wrong and keep our loyalty, instead of denied them our business forevermore.

Just noticed something odd. The price for ME3 on Amazon has gone back up to 60 dolla. Curious.

See the whole RetakeME3 thing and the amount of money that has raised proves the point that fans do not like the ending, Casey Hudson said he didn't want the game to be forgettable, but does he really want it to be remember with disappointment and possibly anger?

*sigh* I do not get it at all, the trilogy was amazing until the last 5-10 mins of ME3. I feel betrayed.

Also anyone know where I can get a banner for New Zealand?

You're not the only one impressed.

It must pretty much suck to be you guys right now and having to deal with this.

Actually,
I'm all right with it. The community has been articulate, considerate,
and for the most part extremely respectful and smart with how it is
providing its feedback. And a large portion of those dissatisfied with
the ME3 endings are cautioning others to keep the criticism
constructive, to be respectful to the developers, and to remain civil in
their arguments. I appreciate that a great deal, and I thank you and
the rest of our community for that.

I just hope that I can do my
little bit to convince you that, yes, we are listening and dispel at
least some of the "BioWare doesn't care fo this reason or that" type
comments. i've always said that we may not always be able to say what
you want to hear, or even respond all the time, but we are always
listening.

I'm also a little amazed at how relatively civil this has all been. Sure, there are flamers on both sides, but they're in the minority.

Where did you hear that Bioware wanted more time but EA held them to the release date? I'm interested! After all, they knew how to end a game, once.

In order to be honest, I find that claim hard to believe. ME3 looks perfectly polished, everything seems well rounded throughout the whole game, there are no signs to be seen that EA would have demanded an overhasty release of the game. (Compare ME3 to DA2, THAT game was rushed out indeed!)

Even the ending sequence, as abysmally bad as it is, doesn't seem rushed, they actually hired Buzz Aldrin as a voice actor for the stargazer, would it be rushed, the would just have picked some unknown guy to do it.

So in my book, this isn't the result of an unforgiving schedule, but solely the result of terrible writing.

It's from here www.gamefaqs.com/boards/995452-mass-effect-3/62230265
It's uncomfirmed but it actually kinda makes sense, seeing as rEApers would gladly sacrifice story for MP wich is the case this article talks about.

All that "we are listening and we care" talk is pure PR mumbo jumbo... they have to say that.

Probably the scene with the grandfather was planned and voiced by time. The ending was done with what was ready ... patchwork fails, stop. Image IPB

I know it hasn't been 10 pages yet(well maybe it has, but I'm so tried right now I can't count) Thought people could use a dose of humor to keep them going.

Sur it makes sense... heck, you even can buy MP packages for real money in the ingame store... if that doesn't scream EA, what else... pitty what one of the best RPG companies of old has degraded to...

It's not too bad for me. I work overnights most of the time, so being up at night is what I'm used to. :P

Civility will get noticed much more than people just ranting, that's for sure. I've always stood by that argument. I'm just hoping things don't degenerate as time passes and word doesn't come. Here's to hoping we'll get some sort of official statement soon.

This thread moves so fast it's hard to keep track of when anything was said. And that pic is still making me laugh. I think even my Paragon Shep would take the Renegade option at this point.

Yeah, my only fear for our PAX troops is, that some raging fans ruin the prossibility to get the answer to our questions.
