Any news already?
Did they finally say something?
This one theory, that its all a dream because he was hit from the reapers, well.. hmm... I hope then his fellow mates will live, too. Perhaps they get him and bring him in cover or something like that.
I think when most players want a good ending in a game series, where most of them bought all 3 parts and most DLCs (at least I guess so), the devs etc. should hear, what they have to say. We earned the right to discuss it with them by giving them so much money.
If you see it slowly (from youtube) you aren't really hit by the beam, it goes all blank 1-3 second before that.
So the dreame theory becomes a bit more realistic...
Still, then something has to come.
Its so sad that they don´t say anything about it(at least I did not see it).
But I think it would be the only theory that would allow to bring in an ending DLC that gives another end without making this one out of order.
The theories of the "The truth" DLC would work with that, too. When they tried to indoctrinate him etc., it really could be a huge difference, what he decided.
My theory is that some days from today they will unlock the real ending. Or so i hope it. With my Xbox 360, collector of ME1, ME2, ME3 all DLC buyed... i cannot obtain 4000+ EMS and i don't have time to play it MP (even if was okay for me eventually to play it). I Need some BW magic wand
Hmm I think I had more then 4.000 without MP and when I made MP I had more then 7.000 EMS.
Can´t wait to see if there will something happen.
Perhaps its all a huge joke. Bioware has 3 choices, too.
1st: They let it all how it is. The customers are very unhappy, perhaps some or more of them will never buy things from them again. - Bad ending! Universe is lost!
2nd: They bring a DLC with a better ending. Most customers will be happy then. Still, they have to pay for it again. So there will always be some bad feelings about it left. - Neutral Ending. Universe saved, but not in a good way!
3rd. The bring out a DLC/true ending for free. Almost all customers will be happy and bioware shows some real good understanding their customers. - Good ending! Universe is save and love will spread!
So Bioware.. now you have to make your choice of 3 endings.. but at least your choice will really change the ending
Bioware's got a lot of option...
They can take the end as it is now, they'll lose a lot of customers and destroy their image for a lot of people (EA too)
They can unlock the real end, there will be some lose of customers but they will have saved a lot of people.
They can make a free dlc, same as the real end
They can make a not free dlc, only some diehard fan of ME will buy that but probably i will not buy anithing new from Bioware again.
(I will buy a Magic Wand DLC

How could it possibly be worse than what we've already got?
You find a magic wand, wave it and then three golden chocobos appear and carry the witch-king of Angmar, Dr. Robotnik and Lex Luger into battle who single-handedly defeat the reaper menace. After that, the screen goes black and the game simply states "A winner is you!" in comic sans. That's about the only thing, that could be worse than the actual ending...

Like a few people who have recently registered here, I've been a keen observer of the BioWare community for some time and FINALLY something (and I'm sure you know what) has got me to register and join in with you guys.
I, like almost everyone here, thought ME3 was a fantastic game. I loved the subtle changes to the combat system, the improvements to sound along with the graphics. It was tense, gripping, emotional and seemed to be heading towards the big pay-off that my Shepard (with well over 100 hours of work behind him) deserved. What..... what the hell happened?!?!
I won't go into detail about what's wrong with the ending because people here, on YouTube and on various other websites have already done that, and much more eloquently than I could. Needless to say I agree 100% that it isn't the ending we deserved, nor the one the franchise deserved.
There will be writers in that office right now that disagreed with the ending. There must be. If only they would speak out, without the fear of being reprimanded and say, "we did warn them, they just went over our heads." Then we would start to learn the truth.
There are either 2 options here, as everyone has been saying. The first is that there is a bigger plan, with DLC where we will find out that the awful last 20 minutes wasn't "the truth." The second is that they actually though the ending was good. That it was worth all the choices the players made, all the species that were brought together, the species that died and so on. The fact that some people don't have internet access leads me to believe that BioWare wouldn't do the former, making the latter the more likely. And this scares me.
I really don't read into this, "well at least it's being discussed, it's memorable," rubbish that they've been passing off for an excuse. I hate the notion that some people think all publicity is good publicity. People talk about bad films all the time, does this mean that that's a good thing? Is the mere fact that people talk about something because they hate it make it a good thing?
It's not too late for BioWare though. Please, please keep up this fantastic work to get the ending that we all deserve. My FemShep hasn't even had a look in yet and she's desperate to go kick some Reaper teeth. And don't despair if it takes a few weeks for a mature, thought-out and deserved response from these people. At the end of the day, the internet might turn against this "whiny mob" but as BioWare imply: All publicity is good publicity.
Sorry for the length of this post, I'm glad to be a part of the fleet and, of course, hold the line!

Also, as has been said before, remember to stay civil and stand united!
The probem is, that there haven't been any news recently. And BW is still silent as a wall.
We could plan te next step of our campaign against astroboy.
I'd like to hold the line.
Where i can find an Italian Fleet image?
To KHReborn: I know, but let's try to stay on target. It might be a while before they say anything, but I'm sure they'll say something eventually.
To Goikiu: Good to hear, not sure if there's an italian fleet image though. I'm swedish but I make do with the european one.

Actually, running a 100m distance in 9.5sec is normal for healthy men)))
I've run it in 5.6 o.O 9.5 is tooo much for healthy menOr rather, for people who work out or just keep in shape
You run the distance 3 seconds faster than world record? With under 10 seconds you run on an olympic level.

I wanted to as though, is the ChipIn site the official one for the movement? I want to be sure I donate at the correct place. I could go directly to the Child's Play charity site but I want to do it as part of the movement. And if so, where do I pick up my signature image. Are they only available on FB?

Hey thanks! I already understand the endings quite well, as do many other people (see ID theory thread on this very forum). That's not really the issue. If you look through this forum at many, many other posts, you will see a billion other issues raised about the endings. For me, not the least of it is how you're presented with the final A B C choices - which Mr. Hudson *specifically* said we wouldn't get (see second link in my sig) - with insufficient information to choose not to trust the scene. It's too jarring, too rushed.
More than that - if we have to explain and rationalize the endings after the fact, and "help people understand," it failed. In the context of the game, before the choice, should be all available info to come to this conclsion. It's a trust issue. It's a metagaming issue. Bioware suddenly expects us to metagame and not trust the context of the game itself. Interesting idea and it could have worked - if it wasn't rushed. Could have been pulled off really well - but it wasn't.
Yes! Oh my goodness, I am so glad to see somebody else say this! (If anybody else has been making this point, big hugs to you too.) Most of us understand the ending just fine, thanks. We HATE it. That's the point. The response to accusations that the ending is incoherent run along the lines of, "Well, maybe it's supposed to be incoherent. Maybe it means something that Shepard is behaving in a way inconsistent with established character! Maybe it means something that your ground squad somehow got to the Normandy and Joker abandoned the fight." But there is very little in the game as it stands to support those suggestions. Mass Effect is a solid story (minus about 15 minutes), but it's not nor has it ever been particularly metaphysical. The player should not have to take such giant leaps to create narrative logic in the ending sequence.
I can understand if, should Bioware go the route of fix-it DLC (and let me be clear here: I am so, so willing to pay for it if it will just let me love these games again), they use the indoctrination theory as a starting point. It's as a good a justification as any. But until that is in the game it's nothing but headcanon.
So... I bet the thread has gone ten pages minimum since I started writing this. I think it's officially going too fast to keep up at all, and I doubt it's going to get any slower as more people finish the game. Keep calm and hold the line! (Ooh, has anybody made us a "Keep calm and..." poster yet?)
