Know what I find most ironic about this? The Reapers are doing this to avoid a Singularity right? Yet they boost the Geth to become more powerful then their creators, thus creating a singularity, because otherwise the Geth were obviously too weak to stop their creators without Reaper assistence. So...the Reapers don't want synthetics to destroy organics...yet gave those synthetics the means to destroy their organic creators, who were otherwise too powerful to defeat. They MADE a singularity.

You - y-you're right.  Not just gave them the means - gave them the idea.  The geth started out inclined to peace - it was only when the Reapers came along that they (or some of them) decided otherwise.

. . . . . . . . . .

. . . . . . . . . . . . .

fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff-

Star chold's logic cannot be questioned!  For he is a super intellegent and anchient synthetic life form.  What seem like plot holes and logical inconsitencies to your squishy organic brains, are the result of Billions of years of calculations on the back of a cocktail napkin.

Well, i don't think i am more intelligent than mine Sheppy... however i'd like to ask something to the kid, something basilar, there are other ways to "resolve" the singularity (without magic wands :wizard:) Like using the reapers as controllers who can Teach the Syntethic life form why to not kill the biological life form

Sure you could solve the problem without Space Magic :wizard:.   But why would you want to?

(you might have detected a note of sarcasm there)

Using magic wand is probably more cute... :wizard: but some of us fans don't deserve to have a magic wand don't ya think? ;)

That wasn't a wand they used.  It was a middle finger.

lol...i got a terrible idea after searching for game that i can play now...

what IF they plan to bring me3 in chapters ?
we have only played one half of the whole game.

like it is with starcraft 2... first game only "chapter one" out of three...

:blink::blink:

I'm pretty sure that there are laws against something like this here in central europe.... after all that would be a fraud (Betrug bin mir nicht sicher ob fraud das richtige wort ist) IMO

Mass effect 3: Take Back Earth

Followed by

mass Effect 3: Fight for the Next

Different subtexts equate to different chapters.  It's shady, but legal in Europe.

And outside europe? :bandit:

Europe has the most strict laws regarding fit-for-sale products and corporate honesty

Actually, if you open your save folder via gibbeds savegame editor for ME3, you will see that there are 5 saves or so. two of them wich you cant see in the normal loading screen of the game. One is called ng+.psgcblabla. If you load this one and save it again under a new name you can load it in the game. If you load it you will start after you deceided wich color the doomsday will have, and watch your sheppards last steps towards the machina. After that credits and so on. Whatever this save means, lets hope for the best.
Hold the line!

Really? I wasn't aware of that, but this sounds indeed promising, at least there would be a way to continue the game with new content after the crayons of death ruined the universe...
So, the hope still lives on, at least in a way... :D

The game is the best one of the trilogy, but:
- ending is a bit frustrating. Not many differences, bittersweet all of them.
- The united fleet remained on Earth after the explosion of Mass Relays? Or how did alien cultures go home?
- Why was Normandy running away from the wave coming from the Crucible if it did not have any effect on anything (at least on Earth)?
Bioware should explain a few things if they made this happen. A lot of people ask to change ending, but I say if they did this, correct it with some explanations.

LoL, don't be that hard on them... they've got one or two weeks to unlock something or making for free some ending dlc, you need to stay focused Soldier.

The line will not fall, the line will Hold you as much as you hold the line ;)

I've been agonizing about the ending since I finished the game on Saturday.  This series was the equivalent of being in a long term relationship that you felt was going just great and couldn’t be better.  You’re about to get married and at the altar your significant other comes up to you and says, "I don’t like you, in fact I’ve never liked you!" and walks away.

I'm just heartbroken and I can't believe the whole conflict over the trilogy boils down to the "we don't want you to be killed by synthetics, so we made synthetics to kill you, so you won't be killed by synthetics" bull the AI god child tells you.  Why the hell did my crew abandon me and the fight?  That's even more unbelievable.  Garrus, Liara, the entire Normandy crew, would have stayed in the fight until the bitter end.  I don't believe any of this slapdash ending I was presented.

And man, did I hate that kid from the very beginning.  I'd watch his ship get blown up a hundred more times because that is the only satisfaction this game can offer me now.

Remember that this is the game we all care for. This is the STORY we love. Don't let it all go to waste.

Please, see this if you haven't yet:

http://www.escapistm...y-Mass-Effect-2

"The tiniest flicker on the edge of the sky
Supernovas collapse in the blink of an eye
The many will call on the deeds of the few
We will see this burden through

But if we find our way back home again
Is there something left to save?
What if we find ourselves alone again?
Is there something left to save?
This trust will not be torn apart
Control the violence in your hearts
We gave our lives to Normandy

We've been breaking ground
We fought for the weak and the lost
They won't break us down
We'll hold the line, whatever the cost"

Good morning campers! And welcome to the newcomers. Finally... caught... up.... to current... page...

The line, it's being held. Like I wish I had been, wibbling in a corner for 10 minutes after the ending. 8|

I thought I saw mention, yesterday or the day before, of their being an official announcement of some kind, scheduled for today? Or was that just speculation?

So far BioWare has not confirmed or denied anything. All statements are intentionally vague. So there is some hope, especially if we keep pressure.

I really hope that the endings will be changed and won't leave here until we have a final answer from BioWare, although there is not much hope for a positive outcome for this in my opinion.
Maybe they just stay quiet because a directly told "ending is fix and won't be changed" would hit their sales numbers more than their current policy of remaining silent.

That could be true and would show how bad they really are. But at some point it would be clear then, and the feedback would still be hard. But its like always... as long as people just shout and do nothing more, it won´t change anything. That is the same way how politics work for long years now.

I think the only way to show them, that this way would be absolutly not what they should do, would be that really much people will not buy any games from them anymore. But be honest: If in 2 years a new ME part comes out, who of us would really not buy it because they let us down in these days?

I'll wait a lot of time before buying it, i will first see some video/demo, after that i'll think about it.

I'd have a question about the goodbyes. Some mentioned Ashleys "don't go" and thinking back I think mine wasn't exactly like that. Ended up with something like "let's get this done and go home".

Any idea why that might be, paragon, renegade, or loyalty issues? My shep was nearly full paragon and never looked at another woman during the games.

Image is everything.

It doesn't matter or not whether people were serious in their posts of lack thereof about legal actions and possibilities. All it takes really is one poster (spreading rumor OR fact) and that's enough for others to take it and run with it.

I wanted to donate,I tried but for some odd reason it wouldn't take my credit card even though it's a MC. I'm not signing up for paypal so I will find some other way. Maybe I'll just go the previous mentioned route and donate directly from the charity.

I'm disinclined to blame Bioware for this though. No offense to EA fans but imo, most of the Bioware backlash (not just from this game) started when EA started running things. Or maybe I just started to notice it more. I'm not posting to rage against EA but it's highly likely that a lot of the "unfinished" things regarding Bioware games like this one are because of constraints EA placed on them.

I'm not just trying to justify either, I'm bitter about the endings myself. I just think I like Bioware more before EA got involved.

One other thing I would like to mention about the official word that it's possible to get the perfect ending without multi-player. It's also possible to run 100m in under 10 seconds. Yet how many people can do that?

Actually, running a 100m distance in 9.5sec is normal for healthy men)))

I've run it in 5.6 o.O 9.5 is tooo much for healthy men :P Or rather, for people who work out or just keep in shape

Er, world record is 9.58 seconds. Know your facts before stating them.
