I think they mean the official Charity hopepage not the official movement page. I tried to donate from ChipIn myself and it wouldn't take my CC even though it's a MC. As I'm not signing up for paypal, I have to go a different route.

Ah, my bad. Official page is here: www.childsplaycharity.org/

Thanks to you all!

The childsplay - site from retake-mass-effect is down .... I can't get there ..... :(

.

Works for me.

And OMG nearly $50k oO

Without a doubt (in my mind) the endings were rushed. I think it was a case of EA saying, we need $, release the game by this date or else. I think that the "feel" of the vague endings which led to the Indoctrination theory among others is Biowares attempt to set it up so there's a satisfying conclusion when they have more time + $. Not that anyone will ever admit to that, it's bad business to say yeah our publishers rushed us, sorry customers - blame them. I've seen the situation confirmed in other games / publishers though so with no hard facts, I'm going with this.

I sincerely hope Bioware is given the opportunity to patch things up now that money is coming in from sales.

I bet mass effect 4 is going to be all about how they rebuilt galactic civilization without the relays and the citadel. And earth is probably going ot be like the capital or something like that.

Maybe we will use Blood Magic to travel to other systems :wizard:

Space Magic or Blood Magic don't care....

Magic is everiything (for EA/BW) :wizard:

Yep, been spreading that on here. Who knows, maybe someone will take notice and learn about closure. Especially the fighting cutscenes based on your actions. Seriously, a little bone there to those who worked their arses off to make sure as many people could be there without compromising their own moral standards.

It irks me the most that I couldn't tell the starchild NO. DO NOT WANT YOUR SOLUTIONS.

THIS! I was wating for the wheel or an interrupt to show up so I could tell God Boi off... and it never came

I then tried shooting God Boi once I had control... didn't work :crying:

Ok so i'm trying to sleep but can't. Keep reading reviews where people are commenting on 'if it was a book, would you demand they change the ending,etc...' One thing that bugs me is that this is a game, not a book. If that book let you choose the direction of the story (like those awesome goosebumps books - not sure if that's an Aussie thing sorry) then we could compare changing the ending of a book to changing the ending of a game, otherwise it's apples and oranges people... Sorry for my rant, maybe now I can sleep. Apologies if grammar and spelling sick, my phone keyboard isn't great.

Also in regards to the book thing, see Sherlock Holmes.

Yes, Sherlock's fate was changed due to fan demands.

i stopped smiling @ my collectors edition once i figured out how "usefull" end "exclusive" the content was...

a "preview" to a dark horse comic, a "preview" for the "the art of mass effect" book, this uber usefull dog... argh %&$%&

No this is just a way to be heard and try to dispel the stereotypes given to us while ensuring that some good comes from this movement no matter what happens at Bioware.

If this was a book, I would burn it during the full moon, dancing naked around the firing, and laughing so loud everyone would hear me..

And I guess I wouldn't be there alone..

Since this is a game, and in my case a Digital version, I don't even have the satisfaction of breaking the damn dvds... So, all I can do it write about it..

Hardly. The donation is to a well known gaming related charity. The donations go to help real people and have nothing to do with this movement beyond asking supporters to donate to a charity rather than just type their name into an online petition. No matter what we feel and no matter what Bioware does or doesn't do, real people are being helped because this community is coming together.

I was there, looking at Destroy and Synthesis, and I couldn't choose for about 15-20 minutes. I agonised over the results of both. Nothing else happened, and my indecision was undoubtedly costing more lives so in the end I had to do something. Yes, that's amazing when a game can do that to your psyche. But if you're going to shred someone's mind and heart like that then you ought to reward them with something more than a ship landing on a miraculously safe garden planet. For those who have played the ME series all through we know how few of those there are.

or look up under the red hood where they killed Jason Todd (Robin).

O'Neil noted, "We did the deed, and we got a blast of hate mail and a blast of negative commentary in the press."

He was brought back as the Red Hood. and thats a comic book.....
