I'm amazed at how civil this all is. Reporting for duty!
Its hard to keep the anger and frustration to a minimum however we must be willing to stand together peacefully to resolve this and bring a closure to our emotions after the devastating ending. We need to co op with Bioware peacefully... only then will we be pleased with the outcome.

I was thinking... could the lack of a Bioware response be because they've realized that they've got a huge problem and are scrambling to figure out just what they can reasonably do to fix it? ("Reasonable" here meaning what is possible given the cost of various fixes vs. what they feel they can spend)
True. But to me it would be reasonable enough if they just said "Alright, we screwed up. Sorry guys & gals."

Pretty much. They've been steadily building their reputation to the levels that BW has(had?). They've come out against DRM, and The Witcher 2 was quite a bit better than DA2. If you don't take care of your fans, someone else will. It looks like CD Projekt Red is going to assume the void.
They just need to develop a Sci-FI IP now, heh.

Anything's possible but I'm betting Bioware already know people wouldn't like the endings. I still maintain it's the best they thought they could do with what EA placed on them. Hopefully EA will be happy with sales and consider it viable for Bioware to go about pleasing the fans.

Tell you what. How much would it cost as a customer to get that done? Cause then the company you work for couldn't get made if we paid for that to happen, it was a business transaction.

Well, I'm sure they know there's a problem. I bet they're struggling to decide how to fix it, though.

Doubtful that he will. Can't get involved in conversation in that thread because it will lose it's purpose. It's a comments page, not a discussion thread.

If Bioware and EA had any type of brains, then they would realize that it's the reputation of their brand at stake. It isn't just a minority that is speaking out against the Mass Effect ending. This whole debaucle is now gaining traction in the media. If the Mass Effect ending is now resolved, then they will lose a lot of gamer support. Even if the real number is just 40% of the gamers hate the ending, however those 40% are also 85% never going to preorder or play early and that will effect their sales and bottom line. Brand loyalty is worth a lot more than a couple of million dollars to Bioware.TSC_1 wrote...

dragon age origins - epic fight at the end with story conclusion
dragon age add on - somewhat fight at the end with story conclusion
dragon age 2 - well... there was a fight @ the end... and a story conclusion... sort of
mass effect 1 - nice fight with story conclusion
mass effect 2 - weird but somewhat epic fight against human reaper with proper cliffhanger (reapers approaching galaxy
mass effect 3 - wtf starchild wtf-ing conversation wtf-ing videos
i think the reason why they want us to comment on the ending is that they want to know what they have to add for a proper ending so that they dont forget anything for a proper conclusion(300 000 eyes see more than a company)
might be nonsense... but it gives me hope

I meant more that I imagine they knew well before release this was going to be a problem. Just my fantasy but I believe Bioware wanted better for the endings and probably already had different content being worked on but had to scrap it. Once EA shows some profits I hope they allow Bioware to either finish what they'd been working on or maybe take some fan ideas and run with those.

It's a 'favorite moments' thread that has nothing to do with the ending problem.

I agree. That's smart business practice. It's pretty much the only thing giving me any hope that something will change, at this point.

Been moody at work too. Expected I'd be sad over a 5-year story ending, but not the crushing disappointment.
Yeah, I was sure that it will impact me as well. But after the ending did what it did I just went full-on grumpy on everyone around, my love thought it was funny and over-the-top until she reached the ending herself and started doing the same damn thing. We're The Grumpies now.

Oh, I understand. Yeah, it does kind of boggle the mind that not one writer would stand up and say "Hey... guys? This is terrible."
