I hope you folks realize that IF they change the ending it will likely be in the final piece of DLC.

If they plan to take any longer then one month to fix it, there will be no need for any DLC... the frenchise will be dead then.

My Question is:

When does Bioware think, enough other people finished the game?

I'd bet Monday at the earliest.

I so badly want to play through all the games again and make a bunch of different decisions like saving wrex and romancing Liara instead. I just can't pull myself to do it till there are some new endings, it just wouldn't be worth it...

I have four complete ME1->ME3 Shepards.  At this point, a week after release, I assumed I would be on my 2nd play through.  Like you, I simply don't see the point.

At which point I will gladly buy all the DLC in one fell swoop. Before that, not one penny. This line will not move.

Also, here a new thread created by Chris for ending feedback:

http://social.biowar...index/9992961/1

He created it... but then hasn't said anything in it since.

Doubtful that he will. Can't get involved in conversation in that thread because it will lose it's purpose. It's a comments page, not a discussion thread.

It's a 'favorite moments' thread that has nothing to do with the ending problem.

No. It's an "ending" thread that he's trying to turn into a "favorite moments" thread. Otherwise he should not have mentioned the endings in the title.

Alas, Chris is a nice guy but putting that in justed moved more about the ending thread to there as well. I guess they kind of know this isn't going away although he did post more. If you haven't, go take a look.  B)

Care to direct me to the page because, having looked through it once more, I still got nothing.

That examiner piece did point out one thing I never gave ME3 credit for and that's closure for all the ME2 characters. Now if we could just get some closure for everyone else...

And another high profile media blow for BioWare...

Excellent piece of writing - untimately this writer hit on BW's success - it's rabid fan base that BW has thoughtlessly tuned against itself in so foolish a manner as to defy imagination.

I completely agree. I have the money to burn on DLC, but it's going to be all or nothing depending on whether or not there is a new satisfying ending.

That's the real hell of it. As I was playing, I was worried that Bioware might drop the ball - I had DA2 in mind. Then I got to Mordin's death. I was blown away. All doubt was erased from my mind.

I was tricked. In the end, they dropped the ball, hard. And that I had let my guard down made it so much worse...

Eh, in most cases that is true. In other cases it was really a dropped ball. But that is for a different forum, so I won't continue, lol :pinched:

That was one part I didn't understand, other than being trapped in sol rather than random system #529 I don't see how their endings differed from the ME3 cast. Unless he's talking about Legion/Thane/Mordin/possibly Grunt specifically.

Ever since I finished ME3 I'm grumpy as hell and I can assure you that I have a lot of coffee in my system right now.

It's beer in my case...

Been moody at work too. Expected I'd be sad over a 5-year story ending, but not the crushing disappointment.

Yeah, I was sure that it will impact me as well. But after the ending did what it did I just went full-on grumpy on everyone around, my love thought it was funny and over-the-top until she reached the ending herself and started doing the same damn thing. We're The Grumpies now.

I know right? I probably have some issues that a psychologist needs to look at given my reaction to this game. On the other hand, it shows what a good job Bioware has done that we are that invested in these pixels. =)

Ugg.... ahh... cough... can't work. What address should I send the bill for lost time?
