Yep, me:crying::crying:
Me, too. And I've had trouble eating. Or concentrating.
Hard to believe I'm so emotionally invested in a game.

Take heart! It is human nature, I've had to say it over and over again so far... story = integral part of our culture/psyche. There are good and bad ways to end stories, except usually bad ones never see the light of day because they're bad from the get go.
This feeling is, I would say, on the whole pretty normal and if you didn't have such a reaction you were either not emotionally invested/enjoying the story to begin with or there is something wrong with you for not feeling upset by it.
Unless you enjoyed it... then there's a whole nother problem.

That examiner piece did point out one thing I never gave ME3 credit for and that's closure for all the ME2 characters. Now if we could just get some closure for everyone else...
Eh, in most cases that is true. In other cases it was really a dropped ball. But that is for a different forum, so I won't continue, lol![]()
What? The Examiner! Are they insane or simply lost for words? I don't see where there is closure anywhere. Do you? Really? I'm thinking even the dead have no closure... lol

That was one part I didn't understand, other than being trapped in sol rather than random system #529 I don't see how their endings differed from the ME3 cast. Unless he's talking about Legion/Thane/Mordin/possibly Grunt specifically.
Well, Mirana dealt with her father, Jack grew up and became a productive member of society, Jacob found someone else to protect, Grunt found a place among Krogan society, etc. Even closure on most ME1 threads (genophage, Quarian HW), just no closure for ME3 team, LI, Shepard, or the WHOLE GALAXY ;-)

How do you get the banner at the bottom, I dont normally put stuff like that on anything so I never bothered to find out how to put it on. However, being part of the UK fleet of Mass Effect anti endings I feel the need to have it on here!!

That's the real hell of it. As I was playing, I was worried that Bioware might drop the ball - I had DA2 in mind. Then I got to Mordin's death. I was blown away. All doubt was erased from my mind.
I was tricked. In the end, they dropped the ball, hard. And that I had let my guard down made it so much worse...
This is excatly what I was thinking. Mordin's death was beautifully done. All those rumors are wrong. They can't do something so well written then mess is up in the end.
I don't like being tricked.

"Well i'm pissed at the ending.
Ohh the game is about YOUR choises and about YOUR Shepard they say. Yeah right.
Decisions and paths taken in ME1 and ME2 you say? Hohoho. Lets pull a DeusEx: HR ending on us.
I want my ending, shoot the kid, deny him etc, my crew is alive, everyone is alive, badguys are dead. I have enough uncertainty and unknow results of my choises in real life to worry about. I want it to end my way not get forced to some crap. I want it like that, not sit and be depressed cause i attached to the characters and now i dont know anything about them. And why the hell do i remember Liara if i did not do anything with her? I just got Geth and Quarians into peace and co-existence and pow the "good " end is to kill geth?
Gonna sit and pretend that everyone is alive and my Shepard is with Tali on her homeworld.
Bioware you made a great game, not a perfect but great. It has flaws but what the hell i liked it cause of characters you made the setting and universe. I got attached to them instantly from first game. Simple as that, not calculated or anything but just like that. They have a palce in my heart i thank you for that. BUT ! What the hell. I have my weakneses and my emo moment and not as tought and manly as i must be but thats me, my inner world. I imerse myself in Mass Effect universe and my imagination runs wild in it with all the characters. ALL the characters. I dont like them all but they sure did not die on my watch, cause i CHOSE so.
What is this nonsence about - WE ( the kid or whatever) create huge death machines to kill organics cause they will create huge death machines that will kill the organics. The effin hell? I made Geth and Quarians to live in peace it should have been the breaking point. But nooo. I aint affraid to admit i cried in Mordins death and Thanes and Legions. Sad moment i did accept but i aint going to accept this stupid end. Even Anderson said - there always is another way and you throw that out of window. It's like the end part was done by someone else in the state - i'll do anything in 5 min just dont kill me.
I dont get to chill with Garrus on some beach, yell abit at my quarian neigbours for their geth dog messing my garden, read a asari-prothean book, meet a little mordin and a bunch of shepard krogans. Let me be in my fairytale and others can be in theirs. Your story your actions. Simple as that.
Or simply know that i and many others are silently behind you guys. ( voted, donated and still have hope ) For each one of you guys you have atleast couple more who are holding the line. "

Wow now that imo makes a whole lot of sense. If this is in fact the case then it's brilliant, and I spoke too soon. However closure is still needed. If the end scene is of Shep breaking free then I want to see him march up there and give ol Harbinger a hearty **** you!! Then all those fleets and assets and people you gathered need to tear the Reapers a new one ala Mass Effect 1 Sovereign battle. Also shut down the relays so the Reapers can't escape. They were gonna use them to cut us off anyway, so use it against them. And after its all said and done give the series its closure, and I'll be happy.
Oh and good morning to you all.

Also, here a new thread created by Chris for ending feedback:
http://social.biowar...index/9992961/1
He created it... but then hasn't said anything in it since.
Doubtful that he will. Can't get involved in conversation in that thread because it will lose it's purpose. It's a comments page, not a discussion thread.
It's a 'favorite moments' thread that has nothing to do with the ending problem.
Yet a lot of the posts are about the ending problem. They keep ignoring us and letting the anger fester.

Yeah, I finished the game at about half one on Monday morrning (UK) and just had to tell myself I didnt get it due to tiredness. Then replayed it the next morrning at 6:30 and BOOM! Rage and anger, which kept me up even more

Perfectly understandable. Likely dreaming or thinking about all those emotionally charged moments and now you can't find the door. I know it's effected me or should I say affecting?
I mentioned in a post earlier about having trouble working... and wondered where I should send the bill?
