In the end, Bioware's gonna release a 10$ real end DLC, everyone's gonna buy it, and not a single game from that point onward is gonna have an ending included in the original release.

As long as i'm satisfied, I don't care.

Doesn't matter. The damage has been done. Even if all of us buy it for closure or whatever reason(s), the future game's released are no longer going to be a pre-order or a first day buy for many people.

Calling the dislike a minority, It's easy to do when they've already bought the game. Had this group been like this before hand, you'd see a lot more attention given to it.

If they charge for the end DLC they easilly loose 70% of their buyers in one swoop. The only other game I MIGHT buy from them would be DA3 because I've already invested my time and money into the first one and the second. But even that one I'll look at with some wariness until I see people commenting on the goddamn ending.

Because lets face it, this ending is so screwed up that Jar Jar Binks could show up and save Shepard and it'd still be a better end than what we got.

If they charge to fix this mistake they're shooting themselves in the foot, weather EA forced em to or not.

Don't make anything of it. @masseffect twitters are programmed responses, not live.

Really?!

Yep. Look through most of their responses and they're all basically different repeating phrases which reoccur in different combinations and permutations.

That and Jessica Merizan said that it's not a person as she helped write the guidelines.

I just noticed something,

Do you think its by chance that the forrest and colours of the night with the child and stargazer look an aweful lot a kin to Sheps dreams? Think about it too, who is the last person to be with the boy in the dreams? Could the old man be Shepard? I guess it would only work if the female sheps ending has a woman stargazer?

Nope. Femshep has a man as well. I always thought it was Joker as an old man with whatever offspring he had.

no, Stargazer is Buzz Aldrin, no matter what gender or race Shepard is.

I don't think he means acutally programmed, just that the people replying are told how to handle these kinds of inquiries in the most vague way possible....

No that's not Shepard, you get to see the stargazer even in endings in which Shepard dies, so it can't be him...

I don't think that will be the case.

If they do release the real end as something you pay for, everyone WILL buy it, just to get closure.

But at that point onwards a lot of the trust between consumer and producer in this case will be lost. It won't be possible to do again successfully.

Principles are a tough thing to uphold when you've got the anonimity of the internet to shield you... I'm guessing the next game will be marketed aggressively, it will have a few larger than life trailers, and most consumers will line up again with the "just shut up and take my money" attitude

I won't pay anything if ending DLC will released because it should be in the game already.

correct....you don't burn this many people and get away with it unscathed....even if they made it right with free DLC or a patch, how many gamers are sitting out there on a console with no interenet access.....

"bug in game" > "we pass this to the devs"
"any info to the end" > "we cant..."

he/she has given many of us some of the best adventures we have had
while playing games."

We know! Thats why the end is so painful. If you want to give appreciation to Shepherd let him/her have a real victory in one of the endings lol. Shepherd has earned that much!

I'd buy it to get closure, but I'm never trusting Bioware or EA again with the games. When ever the next dragon age is released I'll wait for awhile to be safe, just incase they do this again.

you even get the stargazer scene when everyone dies due to the shockwave what´s interesting because when everyone is dead who can tell shep´s story, especially the part on earth.

Which is irritating in and of itself; why get a real-life space hero (yeah, well, he is; and will be remembered as such, alongside many others) involved in this mess?!

I'm pretty sure the @masseffect Twitter account is a real person, since not all of its responses have been automated - and automated responses would probably be able to respond to everyone.

I hope you folks realize that IF they change the ending it will likely be in the final piece of DLC.

At which point I will gladly buy all the DLC in one fell swoop. Before that, not one penny. This line will not move.

I completely agree. I have the money to burn on DLC, but it's going to be all or nothing depending on whether or not there is a new satisfying ending.

Same here, I specifically set aside money for ME 3 DLC. That money is staying right where it is until the ending is changed.

I'm not so sure about this, people always threaten that they will never buy any more games from a company when they are angry but they never go through with it, they only say these things because they are angry. If I like the look of a game I will buy it, I was a massive DAO fan and got DA2 without a second thought, despite how bad DA2 was it didn't stop me from buying ME3 and despite the ending for ME3 beging awful it wont stop me from buying DA3 (you know IF they changed it ALOT). However I can say that until the ending is fixed I have no interest in buying any other DLC for ME3
