So we can't get the ending we want after all?

I would hope that by next week they say something. I can understand that they've been waiting for the game to finally be launched worldwide, and that they're now waiting for people everywhere to get to the end, but this silence is not something I want to deal with for too long.

This is my first post on BSN, but I figured I might as well say something after spending the last few days reading through most of the last 600 odd pages in this thread (I know that's sad).
I'm still reeling from the ending of the game. I finished it last week, but I haven't gotten over it in the slightest. I don't really think I need to go into why, as every point I would make has been expanded on a hundred times over already in this thread.
That Bioware felt they could end their game like this feels like a betrayal of trust, of sorts. That they lied about what we were getting with this game. It was great for the most part (The core game is a bit flawed), but the ending takes away whatever redemption was there.
And it doesn't just ruin this game, it makes the first two Mass Effects unplayable as well. My plan of immediately replaying the series afterwards was quashed by a sudden lack of motivation to do so. I mean, what's the point of pouring in another 120 Hours into these games if I know it's just going to end like this? If it remains like this, I don't think I'll ever do it.
I really hope those theories about Shepard's indoctrination are true, and a DLC with an actual ending is coming. It's a cautious hope,
I totally agree with you, though it happened to me last night (15h ago). My mom visited me today, and she told me I looked sad.
It's the first time this ever happened to me over a game. And I've played a lot of games, still do. And I love BioWare's games. Well, this has definitly killed the joy of ME for me.

Hey all! FinalEndeavor reporting in!!!
Any news?
Bioware is trying to make sure we know they are listening to all of the feedback. So the outrage is being acknowledged which is a positive step.
However that's mostly because it calms people down a bit. Not because they are scrambling to rewrite the ending. Also they may only be interested in the feedback in terms of what not to do on their next series, vs fixing this one.
I expect by Monday (and no later than April) they will start to explain why they did the things they did. Such as
"Space magic is awesome! Here's why."

Absolutely nothing, BioWare is still playing dead...
Anyone have a sharp stick we can poke them with to make sure?
At this rate they won't have to play dead, they will (from the company prospective) be dead.
Hold the line.

When talking to Liara about Glyph both of your heads turn towars Glyph when it speaks and then stay looking away for the rest of the conversation.
I frequently had people turn their backs against me in conversation.
I might also add that the Liara romance was a little incoherent; different conversations appeared to have different presuppositions as to what happened in ME1, and in LotSB.

Yes you are right, it's nice to see some support for our cause
By the way, I don't take the critics of our movement to seriously, most gaming sites are highly dependent of the big publishers to equip them with preview-material, demo versions, interviews, financial donations(?) and so on, therefore they won't bite the hand that feeds them.
I am not mad at them, they just do what they have to do, but on the other hand, I don't give anything about their(?) opinions either...

Look here are more hard, cold facts - Bioware knows better than most on this thread the endings sucked big time, the fans world wide are furious, and they're losing customers faster than they can count on a daily basis. How do we know? Not one single BW or EA official has stepped up to the plate and taken on this controversy what so ever. All of BWs and EAs officials are held up in an underground bunker, site undisclosed, and have no idea how to even begin to handle all the fall out coming their way. And the incoming fire is just beginning to get even louder with the Far East about to come on board.
BW and EA and even more confused than we are at the moment. None of them know what to do about us!
Hmmmm so we just need to keep trying the bunkers until we find the one with "Very Hard" lock THEN we just need to give them the grocery list.
Exactly - otherwise BW or EA would have figured out btheir response by now. That tells me there are some very heated meetings going on in both board rooms at the moment.

Another analogy for the ending: it was like that scene in Heavy Rain when you have to decide which way you're going to chop your own finger off....SO MUCH FUN.
SHEET METAL CUTTERS!!!!!
Still a better ending to ME3

I'd ask you to make one for Croatia, but I appear to be the only one that has reported in on the new site, so I won't bother you - I'm sure there are 50 other countries that could make the argument their banner has priority.

Just wanted to mention, on the topic of it being fast-tracked through QA: Udina is supposed to be Councilor in all games, Anderson leaves either his Councilor position or his advisory position in the book Retribution.
Yep, leaves in disgust at the council's attitude.

Or maybe, they are just trolling us, buying time and hoping this rebellion will die out or go way. And eventually when the "angry fans" are not around any more they will release a press statement saying that we were wrong for disliking the game, and that we must buy the new DLC for a complete experience in the game...

Also the first time you go to the hospital, Ash's hand, up to her wrist, is inside of her stomach. Miranda's hair is glued to one position all the time so when she turns it's just wrong. Theres a lot of small stuff like this, then there was bigger stuff like Udina being counciler NO MATTER WHAT. Theres another choice that doesnt matter. That could have been a huge difference if Anderson was a council member when Cerberus attacked.
Udina became councilor because Anderson decided to step down, and i think some issues with helping Kahlee Sanders out at some point.
