Hey,

I'm pretty sure this is my first post ever on these forums. BUT I've been reading through about 600 pages during the past 7 days and I just wanted to say that I really appreciate what you're doing and that you pretty much helped me out after I finished ME3.
 
I got my CE a day early, so on wednesday last week. I've been looking forward to that since the end of ME2, so I wasn't surprised I beat ME3 in about 2 days (i know i know...nerd/freak blabla ;-)). There were lots of ups and downs, it's been an incredible journey for me since I've loved the first two games and its characters. I took 4 days off just to play ME3 and it was just brilliant, I couldn't wait to see how it all ends and kept thinking what to do different on my 2nd playthrough, based on what my decisions would do to the outcome of the story.


Those last 5 minutes were just the biggest let down I ever experienced during my video gaming history. I'm 25years old, I had a c64 and an amiga from my dad, 3 gameboys, a SNES, N64, Dreamcast, PS 1+2+3, Xbox/360 and never felt that bad at the ending of a story. All those plot holes, this apparently unfinished style of story telling at the end, godchild, spacemagic, a complete turnaround on the most basic and crucial principles of the ME Universe - the freedom of choice, infinite possibilities to play YOUR way and sheps ability to resist in conversations - and all the other stuff that was mentioned many times before.

It was like 6am here in Germany on Friday when I finished, and a (red) spacemagic explosion just destroyed anything ME has been for me over the last 5 years. I haven't been really sad or dissapointed at that point. I was just like.....nothing, empty. Not even tired, just empty. I never thought it was possible for me to be beaten down like that by a VIDEO GAME!?!? After like 3 hours of sleep I got to this forum and, you know, it just felt right to be here. As I read through this topic I started to understand that nearly everybody was feeling the way I do, that the problem is not me, it's the game. All those opinions, you tube videos, pictures, articles  and theories were just the only thing I could really focus on (especially as I still had 2 days off - as I told you before I planned to be on my 2nd playthrough by that time) and what can I tell you, I'm better now ;-)

So sorry for this wall of text, especially as my english is really bad, but I wanted to thank you for catching me in this worst case videogame scenario. Sounds too dramatic I know, but thx anyway ;-) The only thing left to say....

Seems you romanced either Tali or Garrus. If you never romance any of them, you'll see garrus and tali in the middle of.. well not calibrations

Weird, because on this playthrough Kaidan had been my main thing through the game, without cheating. I had Garrus on another one as the LI, but this ME3 playthrough was the Kaidan one. So why did I see Garrus and Tali in that awkward moment?

Actually that is probably what happened. There are certain things in the game that could have been fixed with a month or two of work. Like all the collision issues, Shepard magically aquiring weapons, the ending etc.

The game probably had another month or two to go to be done done.

Well, I don't know about you, but for me it seems that they've just confirmed the indocrination theory and the fact that they've intentionally trolled everyone with the goddamn ending.

I don't think anyone used to post here this much...at least not a lot of us. I know I didn't; I didn't even bother to register until last year and I only did because I wanted some new mods for DA:O and they only had it available here. 

But now...this is like my life. It has been for the past 7 days.

They ask us about our favorit moments, because when we speak of them, they can then point out that those who don't like the endings are whiners. Everyone else loved the game - look at all the favorit moments.

But maybe I'm just too cynical.

I completely agree, the idea is to get someone to say something positive and the get them to forget the negative.  Usually a pretty good PR runaround, however, there was nothing in that game that could outweigh the ending, considering many people no longer have an interest to play the first 2.  Everytime I hear, "tell us what you liked about it," I smile tomyself because I know they're in full damage control mode.

Perhaps the Truth will set us free, but I would just prefer a quick yes or no answer so I can go on and cancel my ToR account and put the rest of my money that I would have spent on DLC to the charity.

Or maybe, they are just trolling us, buying time and hoping this rebellion will die out or go way. And eventually when the "angry fans" are not around any more they will release a press statement saying that we were wrong for disliking the game, and that we must buy the new DLC for a complete experience in the game...

Yeah kind of always knew they "were listening" they kind of own these forums. They need to SAY something other then derp waiting for people to finish derp spoilers derp if people don't want spoilers they stay off theis board anyway.

I don't mean ME3 or the (none) comments from BW, but the reaction to it?

Consider that we have people from each and every country effectively working together towards the same end, and doing so with little to no friction. I can't think of any other point in history that people from so many countries have joined together like this. Heck, if you can get the French, Germans and the English agreeing on anything, that is history in the making....

They are asking again and again "what's your favorite moment?". Well, seems like a useless question for them. They should be asking more and more about technical glitches found, or about what people didn't like! Those are areas that count for a next project, or to make patches and DLCs for this one. The rest seems like a smokescreen. Gaining time.

Or it could be that they are actually looking for things that people liked so that similar things can be added to future dlc's.

I responded just in case, like we've said before 95% of this game is awesome.
