Is anyone else finding all this incredible?

I don't mean ME3 or the (none) comments from BW, but the reaction to it?

Consider that we have people from each and every country effectively working together towards the same end, and doing so with little to no friction. I can't think of any other point in history that people from so many countries have joined together like this. Heck, if you can get the French, Germans and the English agreeing on anything, that is history in the making....

It is really amazing, sitting back to think about it - who would have thought that all it would take for world peace to start taking shape was a group of people who share a love of great games 

Kind of ironic considering that the game is all about getting everyone working together to stop an evil force from destroying the universe.

struck me as amazing, too. I am not one to dabble often on forums. However,
this incidence has presented precedence. I have always held the theory that
large enough collaborative efforts can achieve absolutely anything, such as history
has shown. Now, I know this seems a trivial issue to those not fans of the
game, but it is amazing nonetheless. And the fact that it has become worldwide
is truly awe inspiring. 

There's a lot more potential in this movement than non-gamers wouls want to believe. The donations to Child's Play are proof of it.

Seeing all this, I get even more angry that so many gaming "journalist" keep talking about 'entitled whiners'. It's not about hate, it's about love. We love the ME games, that's why this movement is so strong.

Amen. It IS about love, that's why the movement is so positive and united. Hate divides.

Same here, except I'm not paying for any real-ending DLC.  I already bought what was represented as a complete product; and more than that, i paid an extra $20 bucks for the DD, on preorder. 

I used to feel like I was supporting a company as a loyal customer, doing things like that.  Now I feel like I'm just sending the message, yes please, kick me in the nuts again and soak me for all I'm worth.  I hate spoliers, but it's not worth this nonsense.  Waiting until a game's been out a month and reading reviews - real, player reviews, not paid adverts like the IGN - is the way forward.

I do care because it would be just another way of trolling us, of fooling us.

They may as well say "we have decided to release a new ending to Mass Effect 3, but as now, we have no release date for the incoming patch/DLC. Please be patient.."

And 1 year from now, we will still be waiting for it...

As someone said in a game review (video review actually), there is no need for us to be pals and bffs with the gaming industry. We are customers and the are companies, and that's it. They wont send you gifts on your b-day, nor they will invite you out for dinner. They will only take your money, and if you allow it, they will bleed you dry. We paid for a product that was not delivered, and that's as much as need to be said. Now it's their move, and I hope they use it wisely...

Ditto. Take all, and I mean all, the time you need. If you have to charge for it, that is perfectly understandable in my book. But don't get lazy. We're watching.
