Games are not art! They are products ment for entertainment like toys.
Funny that when Roger Ebert says this, the entire internet gets their panties in a bunch. But when a company writes a dark, bittersweet ending that pulls no punches, suddenly we don't want games to be art at all.
Actually, that just falls into the falsehood that something must be dramatic, dark, grim, edgey, and depressing in order to be "art".
A game can be art without having a terrible ending that S**tcans the rest of the series and makes everything you've done meaningless.
