It doesn't matter if it was intentional. We have momentum now and alot of public backing.

Also our cause is valid, not some nonsense throwed out of nowhere.

Indeed.  No backing down.  We hold this line for as long as it takes.  Eventually they are going to try and sell us DLC or another game, and they are in for a surprise.

as long as it isnt from the horses mouth I hold every deleting plans on hold.

As someone said in a game review (video review actually), there is no need for us to be pals and bffs with the gaming industry. We are customers and the are companies, and that's it. They wont send you gifts on your b-day, nor they will invite you out for dinner. They will only take your money, and if you allow it, they will bleed you dry. We paid for a product that was not delivered, and that's as much as need to be said. Now it's their move, and I hope they use it wisely...

P.S. I used to be such a quiet member in the forums, and now  I can't help myself....

I just don't want them to rush it  and make another stupid weird ending full of plotholes. If they officially announce that they will be making a new ending, they have awknowledge they made a mistake and are willing to fix it. But it might take them a while to get everything working, especially if they had no plans of changing it before the game was released. 

Honestly, I would rather wait than get another horrible ending. Rushing them will only make things worse. And I don't think it will take them a year...most likely a couple of weeks or 2 months, at most.

I think i just figure it all out for myself. It wasnt that Bioware killed shep; it wasnt that they used the god child; it wasnt that for some reason my team ended up safe on another planet. it was that for five years, Bioware had built perhaps one of the greatest story lines ever told, and more than that, they included each of us in that story line, in what became some very personal ways. And then, when they are on the very edge of gaming and literary greatness, they throw it all away with a cheap plot device in a way that would leave even first year literature students scratching their heads. I finished playing the game on the morning of the seventh. It was like reading Jules Verne's greatest novel, only to have the last five pages written by a seven year old who knew nothing of what the rest of the book was about.
I'm still in shock; still pissed. I feel betrayed. i feel that bioware no longer cares about my interests ( interests they help build ). I feel abandoned and thrown away by them.
I'd really like to see them attain that greatness, but each day we fight, the more i realize that they dont care. Perhaps they never cared at all..

Yeah I guess your right... BioWare should have tried to cover it up though. They just lost a lot of respect in my book.

Wait so the squadmates that came with you we supposed to die in the beam? Then why in gods name did you make them teleport onto the normandy? You replaced a sad scene with a giant plot hole even when the entire ending is crushingly depressing anways? WTF!!!!

It seems this thread they posted will have the same effect the Game Endings had on us...

Yeah, I'm not buying that. They can explain their thought process on how they decided the game would end this way all they want, it won't change how the ending is complete crap. Speculation? Fine. A little speculation is just fine, as long as it comes with closure. Not this, though.

Are we all prepared to boycott any future dlc for Mass Effect 3?I know I am, I had no problem to boycott the mappacks for Modern Warfare 2 or Medal of Honor: Airborne.

Forget boycotting ME3 DLC. Boycot ALL BW and EA titles until or unless they give us the product they promised.

Dont you just love using math to make a point. About 600-700 pages ago I posted how much money I calculated BW would lose if they ignored the people from the poll (25kish at the time). Hold the line and how bout a cheer for math!

Remember everyone: Bethesda thought the ending to FO3 was a good when it came out, and they eventually put out Broken Steel.

Also: Don't start throwing out insults towards Bioware. If we keep civil and respectful after this then we look that much better.

It has become very apparent that they never had nor will they ever have any intention of changing or expanding the ending. All the cryptic twitter posts and winking emoticons are nothing more than attempts to stall and dampen our anger. At least now I can uninstall this near masterpiece without worrying about ever having to install it again, so i suppose I should thank BW for that bit of closure.

P.S. Already canceled and uninstalled that abomination of an mmo SWTOR
