It doesn't matter if it was intentional. We have momentum now and alot of public backing.
Also our cause is valid, not some nonsense throwed out of nowhere.
So, hold the line! This is nothing!
Yeah I guess your right... BioWare should have tried to cover it up though. They just lost a lot of respect in my book.
Hold the the line people, we can still save ME.
Right now I care more about my dignity than about ME...
They must be held accountable for their mistakes and their failures..
Everyone must hear about this...
If BIOWARE/EA refuses to come clean with us, this will be their downfall...

I am speechless, absolutely speechless.
The mere thought that somebody in the writing team was convinced that this ass, ill-coneived mess of an ending would be a good idea makes me loose hope in humanity once and for all.
Dear Reapers, if you are somwhere out there in the darkness of space, please immediately set sails for earth...

the point of the thread hasn't changed....now it just comes to light that they thought this would be a good idea.....
the point still is "hold the line" let them know we won't support their future if this isn't rectified.....and to support a good cause

I'd feared, and always assumed anyways that the ending was just some really poor writing instead of some master DLC ending plan anyways. This doesn't really change anything for me, I'll hold the line right up until to point where Bioware straight out says "No Ending DLC, you will take our non-sensical ending and you will like it!".

"One night, Walters scribbled down some thought on various ways the game could end with the line "Lots of speculation for Everyone!" at the bottom of the page."
You're missing the bit which goes "and we said 'Yep, that'll do.'"
Not every idea scribbled down on a piece of paper by a flailing scriptwriter at 3AM is going to be genius.
This finally puts the F in the WTF, and they're charging $2.99 for it.
I'm outta here.
At least now I can get back to work.

I know that it's quite a large bid I'd like to ask, but could someone who speaks Japanese give a brief summary of what's going on in their forums?
It's pretty similar to what's going on here. They are not pleased. A common sentiment is "I can't feel satisfied with this."

Let's all remember that the "Final Hours" thing was all put together BEFORE the game came out. Just because that's what Bioware decided to go with BEFORE the game was shipped doesn't mean we can't make them change their minds now that the game is out and in the hands of us consumers.
Don't get discouraged, and make sure to continue being civil and respectful. It's easy to get angry with this new information.
This, this, THIS. This stuff was all in the bag before they found out how near-universally despised the ending is. It doesn't mean they can't still listen to reason and meet consumer demand for an ending that makes sense. Hang in there, everybody! This line isn't gonna hold itself!
Remember everyone: Bethesda thought the ending to FO3 was a good when it came out, and they eventually put out Broken Steel.
Also: Don't start throwing out insults towards Bioware. If we keep civil and respectful after this then we look that much better.
Bethesda actually care about their fans though, Todd Howard especially. Bioware used too, but now

Wait so the squadmates that came with you we supposed to die in the beam? Then why in gods name did you make them teleport onto the normandy? You replaced a sad scene with a giant plot hole even when the entire ending is crushingly depressing anways? WTF!!!!
It seems this thread they posted will have the same effect the Game Endings had on us...
They betrayed us my friends..
They lied to us, conned us...
They took us for fools and children...
They took us for sheep...
They crossed the line....
Now more than ever before is time to say WE HAD ENOUGH!
Now more than ever before is time to STAND TOGETHER!
Now we will no longer just Hold the Line...
Now we PUSH BACK
We Let them know we are now sheep for the slaughter of cows for the milking...
We are people, we are Fans, WE ARE CUSTOMERS...
WE ARE LEGION, AND WE ARE MANY!!
STAY TOGETHER AND STAND STRONG!!!
DO NOT GIVE IN, IF WE STAY STRONG NOTHING WILL STOP US.
HOLD THE LINE, FOR WE ALL STAND TOGETHER.
