The hell we will. Now more than ever we need to hold the line! BioWare may have gotten off track, but we still care about Mass Effect!

It seems there won't be a new ending... Which is no reason to stop complaining. BTW If this is the result I won't buy anymore Bioware games/DLC's. And I hope I won't be the only one.

The little hope I had...it's gone....On Deciding the End of the Game
The illusive man boss fight had been scrapped... but there was still much debate. On night walters scribbled down some thought on various ways the game could end with the line "Lots of speculation for Everyone!" at the bottom of the page.
And even in November the gameplay team was still experimenting with an endgame sequence where players would suddenly lose control of Shepard's movement and fall under full reaper control. (This sequence was dropped because the gaemplay mechanic proved too troublesome to implement alongside dialogue choices).

You know what? I could live with that.
Black screen and roll credits. Maybe an alien hand digging up the 'time capsule' after them, maybe not. Wouldn't matter.
But Zap. Dead. Black I could live with. Why? Because you know that whatever you did, you lost. You tried your hardest and damn if you didn't make them hurt but in the end there was no way you could have won but at least you and your friends went down swinging. Everyone dies is still closure. Depressing and ****ty closure but believeable nonetheless.

Same here. And its NOT a threat to BioWare. Its simply how it is, I dont feel its worth getting so emotionally invested like this again if it just.... does this..

there's also a reason folks still talk about star wars and star trek.....
right now, ME falls into the first category....not the best way to continue to make money off a franchise.....people still pay george lucas to make his stuff worse.....

Hell yeah.
Just on another note, I was disappointed by the way some things were treated in the game, and would be more than willing to buy DLC that, perhaps, addressed them. But ONLY if the ending is fixed.
Why should I care about any potential DLC that take place before the game's ending, if I know exactly the hellhole the game is heading to.

Oh nothing... BioWare just confirmed that the ending for ME3 was exactly like they wanted it to be...
Can someone please travel back in time and kill me before I finish the game?

So I just thought up the Star Wars equivalent to ME3's ending
Luke is faced by three choices by Palpatine. Either fuse the entire galaxy with tie fighters, use the death star to wipe out the entire imperial fleet but also most of the rebel fleet, or control the imperial fleet but in all three he dies by jumping in a pit. Also, Han and the gang are somehow on the Milennium Falcon and are flying off somewhere when the death star knocks them onto some random world where they are forced to spend the rest of their days.
Also Darth Vader doesn't do anything and Luke has no choice but to pick one of the endings, which for some reason look the exact same except for a different colored death star beam and the people at the end have Tie Fighter wings for ears. Even the plants have tie fighter wings for ears.
You think people would have paid to see episode 1? Yeah probably not.

Gunpowder, treason and plot,
I see no reason why Gunpowder and Treason
should ever be forgot..."
If/When this piece of information is confirmed, it will go down as the worst failure in the gaming industry. Bioware said over and again that they wanted ME3 to be Epic.
The END of Mass Effect 3 (not the ending) will go down as an EPIC FAILURE standing against everything the gaming industry should stand for...
HOLD THE LINE PEOPLE!!
