This happened, basically people are surprised the BW was able to come up with that terrible ending and go "Yeah, yeah that works".

It's what I expected happened to begin with (the 'Truth' DLC thing didn't seem like something a company with intelligent PR would consider), and I'll hold the line regardless.

The Final Hours is NOT a statement from Bioware. It's an explanation on how they came to the endings we got.

This isn't a defeat, it's insight into the opponents thoughts. We can use this to our advantage.

Well we should at least keep the preassure until they release the first dlc(that is already doomed to faillure) than they will se what the "minority" can do with their sales.

Man, that ending with everybody running and then all that stupid things happening reminds me more of Monty Python's "Holy Grail" end than anything.

ALRIGHT. I know this sucks. It basically clarifies what we all feared. They actually thought the ending would be a good idea.

This doesn't change anything. We have to hold the damn line. We have to hold until the day we can shout from the rooftops, "WE HELD THE LINE!" Regardless of what that day holds, we must stand united in our efforts!

HOLD THE LINE!

everybody, keep your chin up (collectively) there's no reason that thread should bum us out....the 'great idea' obvoiusly came from somewhere.....and it lead to the end of ME3....

what we need to do now is hold the line and fight for a change....

if they don't change, it'll be the end of mass effect altogether...

Oh nothing... BioWare just confirmed that the ending for ME3 was exactly like they wanted it to be...

Can someone please travel back in time and kill me before I finish the game?

Where is Doctor Who when we need him??? Doesn't he usually save Galaxies? Why couldn't he Save ours in Mass Effect???

Damn you Doctor...

PS. I remember a phone box just like the Tarsis when I was running around London in the game...

People relax and calm down. At this point Bioware has one of two options.

Either A) Change the ending (For free mind you) and they'll regain some semblance of trust within their community.

Or B) Ignore the demand, call it a piece of *art* and the next game/DLC they release will give them a nice slap in the face courtesy of us, their once loyal fanbase and subsequently either go down as the biggest Embarrassment in game developing history. (Because lets face it, they most likely are going down after this if they choose to ignore us. Gamers have alot of friends, and a very long memory)

So hold the line, its now a matter of economics for them to change this ending no matter what the project director says.

I'm thinking my dlc purchase chances have been greatly diminished by this. If they are smart, and if they are going to do it, they need to release any dlc that pertains to the ending first before they release any other that takes place during the narrative of the game. I'm sure there will be people eating it up as it comes out, no matter what the dlc is, but I get the feeling that fans will actually stick to their guns this time and boycott.

Not even the Doctor can save this clusterf*ck of an ending. Just unleash the Daleks on the Reapers fgs.

At least in the Holy Grail ending (awesome movie btw) the nonsensical ending was humorous.

I keep a close watch on this heart of mine

I keep my eyes wide open all the time

I keep the ends out for the tie that binds

Because your mine, I hold the line.

Thanks for the lyrics Mr. Cash

As is said, The Final Hours is not a Bioware statement.
Yet even if it is, we should not give up. Our best hopes may have failed if this is true, but we thought htis could be a long fight. Remeber, Broken Steel was 6 months later. It will be harder, but will never be at all if we give up.

It made more sense than ME3's ending if truth be told...
