Keeping my Pre-order, and waiting until the game is released to find out if all the talk in this thread is true. If so, may not even unbox the game and just post it on eBay a few months down the road.

If it's true it may not even be sellable on eBay. There's really no harm done cancelling it then buying it at a later date. You certainly don't lose money that way.

Holding onto a thin strand of hope at this point, that and I don't want to join the masses of "PRE-OREDER CANCELLED" folk.

Why? Is is some silly sense of pride? You certainly don't have to be vocal about cancelling it if that is your worry.

Not pride...maybe I'm still in denial:crying:

*pats*
It's ok. We've all been there. Acceptance is a much easier stage.

Are we simply ignoring the part about all ME2 + ME3 romances defaulting to Liara during the flashbacks? Or are we assuming that will be fixed by a day one patch?

It's not something they can patch - it's designed to be that way, sadly.

Wait, flashbacks are purposefully designed to be with Liara no matter what you did in your actual playthroughs?  Huh?

Or the VS, they didn't include ME2 or ME3 love interests at all, there was nothing on the disc for them.

I've seen a number of screenshots from them and they are, based on compression artifacts and resolution, looking very authentic. Sure, it's possible to fake them, but I doubt anyone would go to the trouble.

Yeah, your lying. You havent seen a thing

Next please.

How could you mix up something like that? Because you're lying and don't even have a clue.

Now, can you gtfo please? It's been proven you didnt saw screenshots, never saw the actual ending and didn't read a thing.

GTFO please.

HAHAHAHA, seriously, can you hear yourself? They posted the screeshots in THIS VERY THREAD. HAHAHA!

One of them has been taken down and the other one is fake and super small. Yeah right, theyr legit.

LOL.

Get your facts straight, stop lying, and GTFO.

NEXT!.

Haha, whatever you say, dude; you really seem like someone I should take seriously.

Joker, Anderson and Liara or VS depending on who you romance. If you romanced nobody or romanced someone from ME2 or ME3 it defaults to Liara.

I never understood the Kaidan thing. Sure, I stchooped him but that's because he was there. I was glad he was such a jerk in ME2. Made sex with Garrus guilt-free.

Oh, an apology letter? Let me read it to Garrus while we laugh.

Yes, yes indeed XD

Yeah i'm not pleased by the turn out of these events at all. Bioware has been lying to us this whole time about certain things via tweets and what not. Off the top of my head, someone once asked Casey on Twitter if they can marry their LI, and Casey tweeted "We got you covered."

Oh....sure you do.

You know what, Mdoggy1214, Casey may be right!  I was listening to an interview with Raphael Sbarge (guy who voices Kaidan Alenko) and someone asked him to do a voice over of Kaidan saying something in regards to maybe a situation that alot of the ladies will look forward to and he said, "Marry me, Shepard."

That man's voice impregnates women. That most certainly covers something.

Funny because its true

Mmmm. Feeling late already.

I get the feeling with how the endings seem to play out, that was one of the things they went back on and changed <_<

Sorry, wrong. If you look at the CookedPC folder, there's a movie section. The movies all use the generic bik file type, which is easily examined through Bink video, a free download. He probably just searched for all the .bik files and went through those.

The other structures are propriety Bioware file types that cannot be used for movie storage.

The bink video files are actually in the BioGame/Movies folder but they only give limited indications of possible outcomes (for Mass Effect 2 at least its only the major choices like CollectorExplode or CollectorRadiation). Nothing about which crew member dies or even shepard, this is told by ingame graphics. If Bioware went the same way for Mass Effect 3 just going through the bik files doesn't give you all possible outcomes.

I'm *so* sorry I mixed up the file structure...

Except for a prologue file would be a bik file without a doubt due to size limits. I honestly don't care if you believe me, be as optimistic as you want.

What?

I just went through the Mass Effect 2 Movies folder and while there are videos for the endgame, they are just general render clips. There are no pre rendered videos for squadmate or crew deaths. So if Bioware is going the same way for Mass Effect 3 just going through the bik files won't give you all possible outcomes for the game. That's all I'm pointing out nothing more.

For the actual endings I'll wait till I see them in context.

Also, you might want to work on your grammar a bit so maybe I'll take you seriously next time.

Going from "i just want to help and warn people" to "HAHAHAHAHAHAH YOU ARE SO SILLY" doesn't exactly make you seem believable.

The first screen shot isn't even from anyone people just found it on imgur, in fact it seems oddly familiar. The second one is just a screen shot.

Liara is the default romance. In other words, if you weren't with Ashley or Kaidan the flashback is Liara.

No Tali, Miranda, Jack, Garrus, Jacob, ect.

Gonna go ahead and assume they haven't played through every possible way. Data mining can only do so much if a developer wants to keep something hidden. So if the strat says there is one I'm gonna go ahead and hope that is true.

I find it funny that people have managed to data mine in such a short time. This isn't NCIS where you've got Abby and McGee remotely controlling a suspect's computer within the hour. I'm not saying that this is the most diffuclt thing in the world, but I'd like to mention that there's no, "show me cool ****" button.

The pc version has leaked too and people have gone through it and these are the only endings.

That, sir, is not true. It has leaked but absolutely no one could play it. There is no cr*ck for it!

Not publicly, sure, but it's not a very difficult thing for an experienced ****** to do, especially if he works with his team.

...lol...no. I don't think you actually know what theses "crackers" need to get the game running ? Rest assured: There won't be a playable PC copy of the game prior to release. As always the console versions (at least the 360 one) will probably hit the torrents arround the weekend -but not PC.

only 23 hours? that's less than half of the supposed play time, i doubt you can get the "best" ending by skipping so much, the more i hear the more i think this guy is lying

Half?  What?  ME2, doing all loyalty missions, never even took me 20 hours.  Not to mention he never said he got the best ending by playing to it.  He data mined at least two of them.

yeah sorry but i am more likely to believe a reputable gaming magazine than a random person on the internet (by that i mean space edition guy)

For all we know Space Edition guy could be a troll or some posing as SEG just to troll. There is always hope. :D

I read up above some where that the people have the game already and saw these endings. Now, out side of only 23 hours( it took me much longer to make sure everything went smooth to make sure the Normandy survived the suicide run and make sure everyone was loyal) it makes sense they got some **** endings.

Also it isn't unheard of that companies add things in for cracked versions of a game. If those games are not legal copies, they might have coding that only allows cracked games to get those ending no matter.

Like with the Batman games, if you have an illegal copy Batman can't glide and in the Sims 3 the skeletons are stable and break often.

Just my thoughts.

Pick the merge ending hope they get near immortality being part synthetic. Shep dies, but in theory I guess they could fix the Normandy and FTL if EDI has 100s of years to work on it.

wait a sec, did the leakers say that the death of shepard/crew/squadmates or stranding normandy was in-game? If it is than there is no way that these endings are 100 % accurate.
As we know that only some parts of the Ending from ME1+2 was in .bik video files and the rest is in-game.

Except for Anderson in ME3, there wasn't any characters on the .bik video files.

The big, epic battle scenes and stuff like the Normandy going down on an unknown planet would be rendered as a movie. Or the relays exploding.

At this point I wonder:
1) If Bioware isn't smarter than us all; when we install the game we will be forced to do an update to fix the last-minute bugs and in reality it contains the happy ending. If you think about it, if rumors get out that there is no happy ending with you, your crew and your LI or whatever, and people get all pissed off - only to find out there is a happy ending, the sense of relief people would have would be huge. It would also be strategically smart because what better way to mitigate any future game leaks, if they can say you won't know what we're keeping in our pocket until release day.
2) The endings are truly dark / sad / depressing but completely designed that way to pave the way for any follow-on material. If this is the case, that the ME3 ending was chosen solely to set the stage for follow-on product, at that point I think they would have miscalculated by assuming a crappy ending to ME3 won't affect people's love of the series. I think people would feel used and taken for granted and as a result not buy any sequel in nearly the kind of volume they would have if the fans felt like they had a satisfying ending to ME3.

I'm not sure where it comes on the series, but I'm definitely still in the angry stage. I can't believe that I waited 2 years for this rubbish. I think that even Mass Effect: Deception could had a better ending.
