Also, let's make sure to not start throwing insults at Bioware. Let's continue to be civil and respectful as we have been up the entire time. If they see we're being civil then they'll be more likely to take our concerns seriously.

ACtually, if you think about it, Mass Effect 1 had an open ending, but it made sense. We didn't neew ME2 or ME3 for Mass Effect 1 to make sense. In there Sheppard won the battle and was going to prepare himself to take on the Reapers in Dark Space, where they were dorment..
With that foundation, we can extrapolate and imagine anything we want to from that point onwards..
Mass Effect 2 was the game that hardtracked the Mass Effect universe to an ending, that was meant to be delivered in ME3...
So fellow comrades, just burn your copies of ME2 and ME3 and let's play ME once and again...

The healthy human mind doesn't wake up in the morning thinking this
is its last day on Earth. But I think that's a luxury, not a curse. To
know you're close to the end is a kind of freedom. Good time to
take...inventory. [...] Out-gunned. Outnumbered. Out of our minds. On a
suicide mission. But the sand and the rocks here, stained with thousands
of years of warfare... They will remember us. For this. Because out of
all our vast array of nightmares, this is the one we choose for
ourselves. We go forward like a breath exhaled from the Earth. With
vigor in our hearts and one goal in sight: We. Will. Change. The. Ending.
Captain Price is on our side.

Everyone, including Bioware, makes a mistake once in awhile. After that, the main thing to focus on how they fix the mistake.
They have listened to us in the past. They got rid of the Mako and they got rid of the mini games so we can stay immersed in the ME world. There's still a chance they can patch the ending completely in a dlc. Do not give up until the last! Hold the line!

DON"T LOSE HOPE!
WE CAME TO FIGHT FOR A BETTER ENDING AND WILL FIGHT!
THE AMERICAN, RUSSIAN OR FRENCH REVOLUTIONS ENDED BECAUSE THEY HAD PROBLEMS? THEY CONTINUED UNTIL THE END! AND THEY ENDED VICTORIUS! THE PASSED TO EVERY SORT OF PROBLEMS, ENEMIES AND LOSS, BUT THEY WERE VICTORIUS! BROTHERS AND SISTERS. WE ARE ALL FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRIES AND CULTURES. BUT WE STAND NOW AS ONE COMMUNITY, PROUND TO BE UNITED. PROUND TO HELP CHILD'S PLAY. PROUND TO HOLD THE LINE. WILL YOU SURRENDER? NO!! WE WILL FIGHT, WE WILL PREVAIL! WE WILL HOLD THE LINE!
AS ONE WE WILL WIN
DON'T LOSE FAITH AND HOPE PEOPLE! HOLD THE LINE

Good thing is they made that laughably easy to do. Multiplayer DLC never appealed to me (and I'm guessing most ME fans) and I can't even bring myself to touch singleplayer again, so unless it's an ending I have no compulsion at all to buy it.

No, it was Bioware's idea. Drew Karpyshyn (not Karpynsky) left Mass Effect in the middle of the development on ME2 when he was transfered to SWTOR. Then he quit in early 2012. So everything Bioware did in ME3 was not his idea.

I don't normally post very often, on any forum, but this is not something we can give up on, folks! If a series this good can make an introvert like me come out and post, it's got to be worth fighting for!
The Mass Effect series is potentially the greatest trilogy of RPG games to have ever been released... Not because of great graphics, or awesome gameplay, but because it's telling an epic story, one where our choices, and our decisions are seen to have an impact, and make a difference in the game world... What's happened at the end of the third game has left many of us with the sensation that everything we've done up until that point - every action, every decision, every thought - and rendered it all for naught... and as if to add insult to injury, takes most of what we know about the world, and simply pushes it all to one side in favour of options which have very little in the way of discernable distinctions...
What we're fighting for here isn't a perfect ending, just one that gives more closure to this chapter of the ME universe. If my FemShep has to die, then that is a sacrifice that she would make, but it would be something on her terms, and not as a result of the choice forced upon her by Harbingers "Mini Me"...
/end rant
We don't stop, we don't give up, we keep holding!

Don't lose hope people, we knew this was a royal screw up from the start.
It doesn't matter if it was intentional. We have momentum now and alot of public backing.
Also our cause is valid, not some nonsense throwed out of nowhere.
So, hold the line! This is nothing!
Yeah I guess your right... BioWare should have tried to cover it up though. They just lost a lot of respect in my book.
Hold the the line people, we can still save ME.
I'd feared, and always assumed anyways that the ending was just some really poor writing instead of some master DLC ending plan anyways. This doesn't really change anything for me, I'll hold the line right up until to point where Bioware straight out says "No Ending DLC, you will take our non-sensical ending and you will like it!".
This and this. I never really thought that the whole *lolz, this wasn't the real ending people* thing would turn out to be true.
It's still badly written.
It still doesn't make sense.
It's still riddled with plotholes.
And it still contradicts nearly every major theme the game series had established up to that point.
This changes nothing in my book. Just makes me more determined.
