So we can't get the ending we want after all?

HAHAHAHA
You can't keep a discussion about the ENDING of a triology spoilerfree!
The thing with Com Shep is just PR so you write good things about ME3 (and we all know the rest was great).
It would be nice to know when "once more people have had time to complete the game" is...<_<

That is actually horrible. I couldn't bear that, especially as my LI is one of my permement squadmates. I spent the entire game wooing them just to watch Harby kill them? No thanks. Also Garrus dying is too upsetting.
[/quote]
Agreed. I don't see why every game and movie now needs to be needlessly brutal and dark. Someone needs to give the entertainment industry some Zoloft.

Well they knew the ending was coming up and would make us want to kill ourselves anyway...They didn't want the lawsuits when we all jumped in the bathtub with the toaster from being pushed over the edge by that too ;P

What breaks my heart is that I had so much fun with the game I want to start another play through...except I don't because I know it will be pointless. I have a FemShep waiting to save the galaxy and I don't have the heart to tell her that she will end up destroying it.

Exact same repost of what Priestly said on here. Who is the PR manager for Facebook? I thought it was a woman going by the handle of "Erika". Don't know if that changed in the mean time.
As for the post on the Japanese reinforcements. Like I said: SSV Ishimura seems to be sailing for us.

After the end of the game we were put back to the time right before Shepard does the Cerberus Base attack. I know that after doing the Cerberus Base you cannot update your EMS, so perhaps, if there is a certain ending you need to get to continue on with a "real" ending (*cough* destroy with either 4k [anderson dead] or 5k [anderson "saved"] EMS) the reason for dropping you off before the Cerberus Base is to allow you to update your galactic readiness.
I've stated it before and I'll state it again. I cannot believe that the brilliant writing team at Bioware would somehow lose all of their ability while creating the last 5 minutes of a game. There's got to be more to it.

How the hell did you fit yours next to the other one? never works for me. even the resized one.
I just resized all three of my banners...and had to delete the one about Child's Play![]()
Argh. Alright thanks anyway. I like the ones I have at the moment.

I love Bioware's games. I loved the ME series. Loved Mass Effect 3. But the ending has to change.
I'm not kidding. I can forgive misteps like what we saw with issues surrounding Dragon Age 2, but this ending was too much for me.
If you want me as a future customer, you will fix this. I am seriously prepared to quit videogaming altogether over this. I spend thousands of dollars a year on games and DLC and other merchandise. I haven't touched a game since Sunday when I beat ME3. I don't even want to. The ending was so soul crushing that it has ended my desire to play videogames.
Fix this. It's not too late.

If this is the case, does the last flashback go to the person you left for dead on virmire?
Seriously, the fact that the ending has more holes that an tonne of emmental, why the hell wasn't tali there smiling back at me instead of the blue-arsed bimbo I made the mistake of sleeping with early on?

You know thinking about it, it is really amazing how many LURKERS have been goaded into speaking because of this awful ending. It is a testament to how much we all cared (still care) about the ME series, and it is a testament to how truly disillusioning the ending really was.
I'm a professional lurker myself and I've been talking my head off xD
I think it also hurts the whole "vocal minority" theory, because a good many of us are generally the ones who DON'T post on forums like this.
Hold the Line guys, this movement is awesome!
I'm a former lurker myself. I needed to talk about the abysmal ending, I couldn't shake it off.
Yea... I'm not much of a poster at least here anyway. I have my own website to tend too. It can wait. Abysmal, is that a word I've been looking for. I used everything else on the other 500 post across the internet. Thanks!

Talk about missing opportunity here. BW could easily gain a lot of support by just coming clean and saying: "we acknowledge the love our fans have demonstrated, and will work hard to give what they want". And release a whole new ME ending. It would get them the media support, fan support, and they could pose as the company that works hard to deserve the loyalty of the fans (which undeniably exists).
But doing nothing???
Exactly. There's an opportunity for a huge win on the part of Bioware, here, and they're squandering it.

Seriously, missed opportunity indeed. It would be interesting to see how well their next title sells if this mess doesn't get addressed properly.
