Without going to foul language, I think Mr. Hudson is smart enough to realize he just gave the core fanbase "le doigt d'honneur" and that he should make amends for that. Even though, this group opposes slandering campaigns, that's the most likely thing to happen when we find out BioWare is just toying with us.
^ This, totally this.
Anyway the Spanish part of the European fleet is retiring for some rest... See you in a few hours! We're doing great guys!
Hold the line, save the children, be polite and honor Marauder Shields.

Hi there folks,
I've been reading this thread for the best part of two weeks now, having heard enough unnerving rumours to make me spoil the endings for myself, with reactions you're all all too familiar with. It's given me hope and despair in equal measure.
I'm ashamed that after that wore off I ended up getting the game anyway, which I'm cringingly ashamed about (plays right into the hands of the "You'll buy it anyway" people although don't expect me to spend a penny on DLC). It would've been easier to avoid if everyone had said the rest of the game is bad too, but the opinion seems to be pretty much the opposite. I'd figured I'd heard enough to know when to quit. I'm really sorry about that, and feel that I've let you all down there. At least I can add my voice here to make amends in some small way (although I've still got the faint nugget of hope that it's all an incredibly impressive troll that's made a lot of people go through what the characters are supposed to be going through).
By the way, I assume it's OK just to pinch the appropriate "Take back" signature image?
No reason to feel bad, it IS a good game right up unitl it takes a nose dive off a cliff. That is what's so frustrating about it. No shame it wanting to finish a series you love. Welcome to the line we have cookies and alcohol.

WE DIDN'T KNOW!!!:crying:
He died for what he believed in. He went down swinging and did his best. Not only do we honour him but I envy him. He got an honourable death, compared to what we got.

Hehehehehe I don't know if he gave us that, but anyway, I think he is missing the point. Somehow there's a generation that thinks that "darker" is better, and there is also people who thinks "confusion" means "deeper story". So, he thinks speculation is good enough, but doesn't realize that the fans wanted closure. They wanted to feel that, after all this years, they got it. They made all these choices, and went through all that, and now they did it. And they should have respected it.
Another thing that some modern "writers" don't get: they think giving you closure here would prevent you from buying more ME stuff, or digging into a new ME series. That is fundamentally wrong. Giving us closure on the Shep's saga is the only way to make us care for a new ME series. Leaving this saga opened is a way for people never detach themselves from it.
I think that there are some conceptual flaws in all this. But hey, again, it's not up to me. I'm just here to comment it. I'm interested in this for many reasons. As a fan, a customer (holding the line!), as a writer and a curious spectator of this business move from BW.

Hey everyone, hope everything on the line is going well. I was reading some of the post and was wondering about Marauder Shields? Could someone clue a brother in?

They've got a thread going in this forum you can look at to get the details.
The joke is that the Marauder and his shields, being the last enemy you actually fight in the game, was a hero who was just trying to protect gamers from having to see the horrible ending.

Morinth (yes, I did it, I killed Samara just to see what happens. Eventually that decision was in my main (and - after such an ending - probably the only) save for ME3) - She made it to London with others. Too bad she has already become a banshee.
Legion - got a soul not long before going to the better place.
Mordin - died as a goddamn hero.
Thane - died with honor. Dishonored that KL assassin.

All I want to do is live on Rannoch with Tali all happy and junk. But nooooooo, bioware doesn't like that.
