No unfortently, you DONT have to make a paypal account it will accept guest donations but they are still processed through Paypal

As a note, I am a junior high teacher. If one of my students wrote a fictional essay that ended in any of the three ways (or 16) this game ended...they would have failed.

just finished the game.

it was so good until that last bit...

i really have no problem with Shepard dying, it's totally something my Shepard would do, but to have it boiled down to three choices that take into account nothing of what came before them? Nope.

I really am fine with downbeat and ambiguous endings, but not if they fly in the face of everything that these games were supposed to be. The outcomes of the choices, for me, were fine - tough decisions, but that's what this series is built on. The way in which the choices were presented was frankly lazy, and the lack of any closure at all really irks me. We don't really get to see the impact of any of our decisions on the galaxy as a whole, not even that last decision.

No idea what happened to my LI, which was Miranda by the way, and seeing Garrus in the final cutscene was just confusing as I assumed he died when we got hit by Harbinger.

Hmm... don't really know what else to say. Was looking forward to a trilogy replay, but i really don't have the energy for it when i already know that everything i do will boil down to a three way choice that ends in much the same way whichever one you go for.

I should've heeded Marauder Shields warning...

First (and only) time I played the game I got killed by him after headshotting each of the husks. I laughed, then put the controller down and said, "You know, it'd be pretty hilarious if the game just ended right here."

Having beaten it, I wish it had.

 First post ever for me but I just couldn't sit silently by without adding my voice to the vast fleet of other confused and disappointed fans.

Most of my issues have been covered in what fraction of this vast thread I've managed to read so I won't wall of text.

My biggest gripe and the thing that disappointed me most was that almost none of what I had done with my femshep in the entire series up to citadel AI supergod star-child scene was rendered entirely moot. Won't even go into  the taste-the-rainbow-space-magic-doom-ray. I think I sat there staring at the screen in abject disbelief for a good 15 minutes thinking "Did I miss something? Was there a mission I missed at some point? Is this really what we've had three games building up to?"

So now I dust off my N7 armour, grab my Carnifex from the armoury and...

Hold the line.

No. They are there no matter what difficulty you play. I think Marauder Shields just gave us a bigger impression... makes sense, he did have a gun, even shot me once before I killed him.
