Wait a second,
I'll reiterate the point. The Final Hours was NOT made by Bioware, NOR does Bioware get money from it. It was a documentary effort by an interested person, nothing more and is a bit dated.
Glad to have you

Haha god this place really is like a support group of some sort. When I hit those horrible endings, I hopped online to see if I just didn't get it and people were saying the endings were deep masterpieces but thankfully no. It feels surprisingly good to know that I'm not alone in my feeling horrible over this ending.
As for what it is we want, though many see things in different ways I think we all agree that the ending should just be reexamined by Bioware. At the very least I think we want to discourage future games from taking such a terrible approach towards ending not just a game but a whole series. People to this day complain about Halo 2s ending but at least there people knew there would be a freaked sequel. In this case this is it. This is the end of.Commander Shepard and probably the crew. Hell it might be the end of all Mass Effect games. And THAT was how they sent us off!? With a vague last minute space-god-child-AI Deus ex machinations thing?! With an uncertain end for the whole crew and zero closure? A terrible idea.
Personally I think the best ending would have been something similar to Dragon Age Original. DRAGON AGE ORIGINS SPOILER WARNING At the end of DA you are given an actual choice at the end. You could be noble and sacrifice your life or you could allow your warden companion sacrifice himself. Finally you could let Morrigan have her way with you and nobody was sacrificed, though you have to question her motives and whether the world would later regret your decision. Three clear choices, not just whether you prefer your space magic in cinnamon, mint or blue berry blast flavor. Sacrificing yourself actually meant something when it was an actual choice. In the end of ME3 there wasn't a choice in that so its made pointless. Players who wanted a darker ending in DAO could sacrifice themselves and the end would be their own funeral, watching the friends you made and possible love interest in attendance while you're given a heartfelt eulogy. Those who wanted a happier ending (for their characters personally) could survive. They'd be given further closure and choice by ending the game where they can go through and talk to their friends, often being asked what they plan on doing next whether it be settle or keep fighting or whatever. Finally it all ended with a slide show explaining how some of your actions played out after your story was done. It was IMHO the perfect ending that offered most players what they wanted and a whole lot of closure. You certainly didn't have a huge uproar over the ending like you have here. How many of us would feel much happier today if that were the kind of ending we got?

I know, but you gotta read the last line, it's not only rude but he doesn't really look into why we are angry. These 'reporters' give us all a bad name

I would really appreciate some feedback or just your thoughts on it
I like it. Way better than what BioWare gave us.

Tali's Face: We eventually decided that she gives you a memento of her pictures, but the team was throwing around a lot of pictures and designs until we decided on something and said "Yup, that's her". Mr Hudson
