Jessica Merizan just confirmed it, the destruction of the Mass Relays was NOT the same as in the Arrival DLC.

In other words, it is confirmed that the galaxy was not "destroyed" but the destruction of the relays.

Can this intel be trusted? this is clearly not from development team i suppose.

That's even ****tier, you're telling me my Shep did all that, just so the galaxy could be shot into a new dark age?

Because that's so much better.

And starvation, don't forget that.

I know but she hasn't said "This is just my opinion". She is stating a lot of things as fact.

Another of her tweets say (if your squad doesn't appear dead on the citadel) that they were forced to retreat and thats how they ended up back on the Normandy. Check out her twitter feed!!

So you're telling me Liara abandoned me? LIES!!!

Ahem.  It's two moons.

I know, and alongside that fact there is also no space debris burning up on re-entry following the mega space battle around earth. I was providing supporting evidence, not arguing against you.

Ah, I retract my Caps Lock, good sir.

What Caps Lock? I have no idea of that to which you refer, old chap.

*tip my hat*  And that's ma'am to you, soldier.

Yeah after reading all of those tweets I'm just gonna let the cynicism take over. It is just screaming the whole "head canon" artsy, edgy PR thing to me. Just so it can be turned around into something like "See we DID make you think about the endings"

Nothing short of an official response is gonna sate me on that regard.
(Forgive the abrasiveness, just getting tired)

Sorry to ask, but who is she to confirm such a thing?

Is she the writer? Is she entitled to make her theory the absolute truth of the game?

When we players say anything regarding how the ending was bad and we want some change, they say we are not entitled to ask for anything, since we did not write it and it does not belong to us.

On the other hand, someone shows up, speaks some half trues and suddenly she is the all knowing authority on the game and we must bow down and pray her wisdom?

Thank you, but no Thank you..

I will accept nothing less the a public official statement, and hopefully it will be an apology to the fans...

/Salute

Thats a fair point mate. Its far from being absolutely confirmed, but if these are the ideas of someone in touch with the dev team extensively, I'd say they have some merit.

Lets wait for a dev to say it tho.

Now that they've successfully diverted us into talking about the meanings of the ending, let's just remember that they don't make any sense. The annoying AI reaper god space wizard of doom gave us 3 crappy options that we dismiss. All the tweets in the world won't make me accept that nonsense.
Holding the line.

Don't forget disease..

And eventually war...

The final chapter of the Mass Effect Universe  will be a book written by Krogans Called "HOW TO COOK TURIANS AND QUARIANS - HUMANS ARE BEST RAW!"

I'm sorry but that's bullsh** and bad writing, if that was the case you need to state it in the game itself somewhere. Retconing established lore over twitter is just covering your ass.

I should really be in bed by now......

Jessica has also pointed out that everyone in the Sol System still has FTL, though I think she forgets that FTL is not the same as using a relay.

FTL in ME3 is equivalent to 12 lightyears per day, and uses fuel. Mass Relays are meant to be instantaneous and as far as we know don't use fuel.

In other words, everyone "stuck" at earth can fly home, it'll just take them FOREVER.
