I'm trying to start a new insanity run now but I can't shake the voice in my head telling me how pointless it is to actually care about the character. We need to get this thing fixed.

Yep I agree the entire series is technically made pointless by ME3's ending

Actually I'd go with this:

Frodo and Sam get to Mount Doom.  They're inside.  Gollum bites off Frodo's finger and goes to run away.  Then the lava boils up and explodes in either red, blue, or green depending on which finger you decided to put the ring on.  Meanwhile Aragorn's army has invaded just in time to get vaporized by Mt. Doom's eruption along with all the orcs and Sauron.

Sure you beat him, but you and your friends are still ****ing dead.

I was reading Jessica Merizans tweets.  It just filled me with pain.  It sounds like there is no dlc and she's trying to help us gain a 'deeper' understanding of the ending to help us grieve and move on.  There shouldn't be a need for 'deeper' understanding.  I was promised a game with closure and an ending that showed my choices.  If they wanted people to talk about possible future games in the same universe this is not it.  Way to crush me, again.  Didn't think it was possible.  Will not go anywhere but this forum from now on.

I disagree. Plus she's under a contract....she can't discuss anything in detail otherwise she would get fired....and maybe even suffer legal fallout. She even said she can only talk about the game and that she can't discuss any possible DLC.

Just wait it out. We will hear something. Now if it's what we want to hear...I have no idea. But I am waiting it out.....for now at least.

My girlfriend lives in Gettysburg and she agrees with us in regards to the ending.

It's easy to get upset but let's make sure to keep the Bioware bashing to a minimum. Let's try to stay civil and respectful. The whole twitter thing stirred up a bit of a hornets nest but let's remember that this ISN'T an official word from Bioware, but the replies of the community manager. It's likely she's just speculating like us (as well as doing her job by trying to put out fires).

If we avoid insults and ugly remarks then they'll see how truly serious we are.

Nope I feel the same way, I tried to play Final Fantasy XIII-2 last night and couldn't play it for more than 5 mins before giving in and going to bed.

I will be here along with many to help hold the line.

I agree, best to prepare him. I told my dad that the ending sucks, he said he doesn't think he wants to play it anymore, dunno if that's for the best or not....maybe he should see for himself.

Just wanted to say I spoke to a different work friend about this series, she's not even a gamer. She said she'd buy the game and play it based on how much I loved it, but will not go through with it becuase of how much the ending let me down. Spoke with another co-worker who loved the 1st two and who hadn't bought the 3rd one yet. Finally broke down and told him the ending. He's not going to buy the 3rd one now. I just want to say, when discussing this with them my intent was not to keep them from buying the game, I wasn't trying to be malicious just discuss the series that I love and the crushing ending. That feeling that BW gave me is what was their deciding factor.

I think I'm in sadness again. Can never tell anymore. My moods change so fast, anger, hurt, despair, acceptance, denial, hope. Not to mention I'm the walking dead at work and cannot, to save my life, stop refreshing ths forum as often as possible.

I need to say: thank you for always reminding us. It is nice to see that there is someone always making sure we aren't getting out of control 

lol, I'm still waiting for someone to basically say "here comes THAT GUY again with the reminder."

I know I sound like a broken record at this point but I figured I'd keep at it until enough people told me to shut up.

If that doesn't happen then I'll keep at it until we hear word from Bioware. I'm a ginormous Mass Effect fan (favorite series ever) and I can't even bring myself to play any of them again, let alone ME3 for a second time. Which is a shame, because up until those last 10 minutes it was the best game I've played in a long, long time.
