Another news incoming:

http://vgutopia.com/...alysis-spoilers

Instead of celebrating a player’s smart choices or punishing a player’s poor choices, the game makes them count for virtually nothing. Even if a new “choice” is added if you do well in amassing a large fleet (the Synthesis choice only comes about if you have a high enough military strength) the game still forces you to bow to the will of another and that is the antithesis of choice. Choices are so important to the whole series but the biggest one at the end of the finale is the one that isn’t a true “free will” choice. It’s like if a gun is pointed at your head and you needed to choose one of three horrible deaths, is that really free will? Shouldn’t the choice to try to fight off your attacker (regardless of how futile it is) be there?

Glad to have you soldier, take your rifle and armor, step up to the line next to Commisar Yarrick and Grimaldus to hold the line
Just don't run away, they tend to shoot people who do that.

Since it's relevant to this topic as well, figured I'd link to my post in another one.

http://social.biowar...272/92#10039124

And it still only briefly scratches the problems I felt with it. @_@

Honestly, after all this, I feel like Bioware ripped out my heart via chainsaw, bronzed said heart, attached it to a flail, and beat my face to a pulp with it. Blah. x_x

It seems I'm hearing a lot of despair and non-line holding seeping into this thread... Folks, if we can't even survive one week, what's the point really? Will we really allow a couple of setbacks to destroy us? Perseverance is the name of the game guys, or the naysayers have already won. It's been said before and I'll say it again: Hold The Line.

Honestly, people if you need help holding the line I will gladly get Commissar Yarrick to get you back into place.

*Distantly heard* "I will whip the first one of you who retreats"

And that's probably before he decides to just flat out shoot you.

As long as he brings the Fortress of Arrogance with him, and preferably a decent portion of the Armageddon troops, I'll happily take the shot! :D

I do my daily tour around internet.
Metacritic and Amazon' s users rate ME3 pretty low.

*image was here*

Am I missing something or do they say that there's 2007 ratings in total, but they only list some of them?

I mean, 326+90+749 = 1165, not 2007.

I don't really use Metacritic so I might be missing something...

2007 - total votes (with or without review)
1165 - total reviews
It's sad to see, that so great game is rated so low just because ending. Turns out, people like classical "videogamy" ending more that grimdark crap after all . Strange, isn't it?
You see bioware? That happens, when you get "talkings and speculations" about ending. <_<

Just gonna say this (because I don't have time to type an elaborate post):

Don't lose hope.
Mac Walters' "First Matrix" might atually be an accurate description - just think a bit earlier than Neo flying away. Gonna elaborate on this when I get back to my computer - some 5-6 hours from now.
