So I'm really not trying to troll, but how would you guys feel if the indoctrination theory is true and they were planning The Real ending the whole time and it's released for free?

Hey I'm not sure if this is the right thread for this, but I was just looking though the new datapad app on my iPhone. I found a planet that matches the one joker lands on in both description and the picture attached to the entry. I don't know if this has been posted before but here is the link:
http://i.imgur.com/cWscu.jpg

The planet is called Aiea and is decribed as a garden world, hope this helps

The community basically wrote them the ending DLC with their own plot holes. Easy fix if you're using :wizard:.

IMPORTANT

I'm posting this, and will probably bump it a few times, because I think we need to encourage each other to remember who we are. It was touched on a few hundred page ago, but IMO can't be repeated often enough,

Commenting on Forbes contributer Dave Their's piece yesterday about Chris Priestly's "We're Listening" thread here on BSN, Rob Munsch said something really profound about the game industry's insistence on referring to us as "fans:"

"Fans are demanding, cranky, unreasonable, over-emotional, easily discounted. Nice to have, but not vital. When you stop pretending they’re 'fans,' and start thinking of them as 'customers,' that will be the real ground-breaker."

This is so very true.

It's no accident that the industry uses that term. It elevates the vendor to the status of celebrity/artist and diminishes the customer to the status of, well, fanatic.

We are customers of BioWare and consumers of a product. This doesn't give us the right to be obnoxious jerks, of course, but it does elevate us from the status of drooling, crazed fanatics to the status of reasonable people who are approaching the reasonable people at BioWare to engage in reasonable dialogue about a serious consumer issue.

Never forget that.

Heads high, shoulders back, eyes on the goal. Hold the line.

I concure entirely. Look people, this isn't going to be quick if it really was the balls up it seems to be. if it isn't well get our answer, but I doubt its going to be tomorrow, or the next week, or the next three. I'd considering something within that timeframe to be 'quick'.

at the end of the day, I've just about expressed all the I can and I've yet to really see an argument that solidly contradicts and counters what has been said, and no, its not because all I read are the 'support change' threads, I go to others trying to really figure out what the intentions are here.

this quote of Kirrahe, god love the man of holding the line speaks more to holding and standing firm in our convictions rather than hasty, rash, lashouts. so I'll reiterate it

HOLD THE LINE

DO NOT GIVE UP

KEEP YOUR BOOTS PLANTED

DO NOT LOSE HOPE

HOLD YOUR CONVICTIONS

HOLD THE LINE WITH EVERYTHING THAT YOU BELIEVE IN RIGHT BEHIND IT

and by ALL means let your actions speak for themselves, stand by what you believe, like I do, that the current ending of this FANTASTIC franchise is a slap in the face and will not be accepted. Further more, remain as civil and as polite as you can, don't by into their slander of fanatics and rash idiot whiners. Don't prove them right, at the end of the day, WE ARE ENTITLED to express our opinions and criticisms and let our actions speak for themsleves.

Demanding change may not make it happen but it will certainly make our stances on the issue clear when they see the results of their actions down the track. this fight is one that Bioware simply isn't going to win unless it satisfies. and if it doesn't, nobody wins, not us, but certainly not them, not in the long run. the sheer amount of goodwill they have/will lose over this whole mess is going to show, in spades, if you put your money where your mouth is, so to speak, they are going to feel it, I'll be damned if they aren't already feeling it. think about it if this debacle continues, continues dlc content, the next big title either BIOWARE OR CASEY churns out, what will happen if people remember this? I'll let you think about it. How will you remember how this was all handled?

To those who slander our actions as threatening, we've a damn right to be threatening, its a capitalistic market, and excellence is achieved by effective and proper response to criticism and its what producers in this market should ALWAYS strive for and there is no reason why Bioware is exempt from these principles at even the most basic of levels, and none that they are incapable of fixing this tarnish.

I know you're furious with the current state of things. Bioware isn't helping with their crypticism and the like. And whitewashes by reviewing sites stoke rage just as much. I know you're furious because I'm damn near thermo-nuclear with all this. But we have GOT to keep level heads. Soldiers don't win wars by losing it, they stay in control.

Stand firm and Hold fast
calmly and steadfast

185th New Melbourne Marines, Col. Vincent Reed
Daring to stick around.

Long time lurker here, adding my voice to the chorus:

Like the most of you, I've beaten Mass Effect 3, and had the same swath of emotions.  Confusion, denial, anger, more confusion.  I didn't know what I'd just seen, did something go over my head?  Did I not 'get it'?  I turned to the internet; read articles on the various responses, both for and against the endings.  Finally, I remember these forums and came to see what other people had to say.

I've watched this thread for a few days, watched the charity drive grow, and grow.  Witnessed the tide of hope and despair as tweets came in, saw the lockdown after the brief storm of anger.

And I've got to say, I have never seen such a devoted, well-mannered, intelligent group of 'fans' in all the years I've been gaming privy to the internet.  You guys and girls are amazing.  I am proud to count myself among you.

Hold the line.

I've been saying this for a long time, but in order for it to mean anything we have to stop acting like crazed fans and remember that we are consumers of a "product"; I don't pay cash because I'm a fan, I pay because I want a product that will allow me to escape reality for a few hours, and yes, I do want to feel good about myself at the end of the product, this product failed to deliver and took away the greatness of the rest of the product.

Yes you have been saying this; you may have been the first to point it out, in fact. Didn't mean to fail to acknowledge you or anyone else who's mentioned it before. It's just too hard to go back through the thread and find those posts. Thanks!!!

So what was said that disproved the indoctrination theory? I've been out of the loop for most of the day XD (Didn't really buy into the whole thing anyway, but still it was nice to think about)
