So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Wish it would be under better circumstances, but while the way Bioware chose to end my favorite series left me feeling terribly tired and hollow, I'm glad that this community at least is still as awesome as I remember it.
Just sent some money to the children.
Hold the line.
It's good to be back

Same. I was already planning on another playthrough of the 3 games. Now I just can't bear to take Mass Effect 1 out of my cabinet.
I as well. I stand the thought of going through the games again, knowing that it won't make a difference in the end.

Was anyone else really upset with the information revealed in "The last hours" app? I posted the following in another forum, but I feel it'd do more justice here:
Wow Bioware. I can't say I truly ever defended you for this ending but I did my best to understand your reasons behind it without attacking you. But now it seems my effort to be civil was a waste. This just proves that what ultimately mattered to you was meeting the release date and relieving your once loyal fans of their hard earned money.
It's official, we're better writers than you. Tell your creative team to step aside because we got this s***. Now stop trying to placate us and fix your blatant disregard for what was promised. We deserve better, for crying out loud, Shepherd deserves better. The very least you could do was maintain pride in your own story but you couldn't even do that. Good thing your fans (rather previous fans) had more integrity, faith and love for your work than you did.
Shepherd out!
I think that right there should be bolded... well said... we're is the pride and love for the craft in these endings. Some one who takes pride in the work and loves there craft will put hours into paid or not because they love it.
Its a labor of love in a sense... and Just like a NFL player - the hell they put there bodies through just to complete a seasons is amazing even get paid millions(not guarenteed BTW) they still do it because of the love of game..

even war can be civil
Ineed, if we stop being civil and being rude will not help us. It gives them more ammo and weakens us.

This is the first time I've posted on the SBN, although I've been following it for years on occasion...
...I finished the game exactly two days after it was released, and when it was over, I could not help but stare at the tv and wonder what the hell I did wrong, even though my Shep was a full paragon who had made all the right choices and had done all the side quests, etc... So I decided to look up online to see what other endings there would be. And I realized that there were no other endings, really (I was doubtful at first because I just figured that most people weren't done the game at this point). Now I can't even bring myself to play any of the other ME games, and I refuse to import the rest of my characters only to have such a terrible end.
After that, I was depressed for a good few days before I finally decided to come here and comment in this thread just to show my support for all you wonderful people.
Hold the line!
*sigh* Same here, comrade. I tried to steer clear of all spoilers for ME3 and, when I reached the end, it came as a total shock. Reloaded several times, just to see if it was possible to get the ending I wanted, but quickly found out there is no good ending. Now, I can't even begin my second playthrough as my Renegade Shep. I mean, what's the point?
ME3's ending caused me to get online and come here, too.
Anyway, welcome to the war, soldier. If you're still in need of a laugh or two, I highly recommend watching this.

Yep. And I think thats you boyz and girlz doing good. Not proud of myself, 'cause all I can write is two stupid statements a day (I've got a lot work to do, since I'm not done anything for 3 days of despair). Still, proud to be part of such a great community.

If you think about it... every time you read some "trailer" of me3 you read, the war begin or begin to take the earth back.
What have they really plotted?

I guess that would mean we inadvertently shattered their worlds and financially supported Bioware. However, what our money truly goes to is a admirable cause. Everyone knows our motivations behind the donations. We're still raising awareness and bringing recreational options to children. Don't forget that 99% of Mass Effect 3 was beautifuly written and that's worth experiencing.

That cursed space magic, we need our own wizard to counter God Child...I vote Gandalf to tag team with Marauder Shields.

I just want an ending I can enjoy and remember the series by, not this travesty that saps motivation to enjoy it again -.-
