@xHezz90, don't worry, you're not alone, many here, including me, want the option of a happy ending and have made our opinions known.

I too want an ending where Shepard can be reunited with her (his) b!ue godess (or other LI), so you're not alone my friend.

It should be what they promised us, which is the part where our choices matter. Some Shep dies, others he/she lives. Idk what was so hard in putting that in, DA:O did it perfectly imo. ^_^

No, you are not. Personally, I want two more endings. One where Shep lives and is reunited with his/her loved ones (but a lot of things are still f***ed so it isn't a "rainbows and unicorns" ending) and an ending where the Reapers win.

I'm glad I'm not the only one, I mean the ending really sucks but IMHO the fact that Shepard dies (even though you worked your ass off to be good ect) adds to the suckiness of the ending.

We do get the ending we want.

In your head.

Hours later after your rage has subsided and you start thinking of the ending you wish you had.

That was BioWares intention all along you see.

;) I kid, I kid. I troll, I troll. Seriously kids, don't do indoctrination. Indoctrination is bad.

Nah, there should probably be one.

In fact, there should be all sorts of endings. With all sorts of different outcomes, based on what we did up to that point.

The reason many people are fine with Shepard dying is simply desperate bargaining. Most are actually willing to give up the diverse, meaningful and custom endings that we were pretty much promised for anything that's not what we've got.

As it looks now, Bioware screwed up. They don't have anything remotely diverse in their pipeline. They wanted a bunch of identical, but differently colored cutscenes to be the definite end of the series and, for reasons that are still beyond me, thought it would be a good idea.

So chances that we'll actually get a multitude of different endings, based on our decisions are slim. Many people feel that all we can hope for is something just a little less bad. Maybe the mass relays not blowing up, the Universe thereby not being screwed, the Normandy not just chickening out...stuff like that.

We'll still need to make up most of it in our own minds, but at least there's some room for optimism, regarding the choices we made. We can speculate what will happen to the crew based on what we learned during the course of the game, we can imagine how the Quarian issue will turn out, what the Krogans will do, etc.
It would still be disappointing compared to what we initially hoped for, but it would be something..

This, we where promissed 16 different endings. That should give us options from Shep dies, to rainbows, to everything-dies and everything inbetween.

We appreciate everyone’s feedback about Mass Effect 3 and want you to know that we are listening. Please note, we want to give people time to experience the game so while we can’t get into specifics right now, we will be able to address some of your questions once more people have had time to complete the game. Let’s also remember the man/woman that started this journey for us. What do you love most about your Commander Shepard? Please try to keep the discussion “spoiler-free."

I want my Shep and Kaidan to live and find each other again. If he has to die, I want a scene where my LI is devastated and I want my friends Liara, Garrus and Tali to actually care that he's dead.

I want closure, not the crap we got.

No, you're not the only one.

There are two themes running here. One is victory, at any cost. Even if it means taking a suicide squad to take aout the reapers.

The other team is victory in the face of the impossible - against all odds, against the grain. We will prevail, we WILL find a way. Shepard has made a name for himself by succeeding where even Chuck Noris fails.

The best ending of ME2 is one in which you not only succeed at a SUICIDE mission, but do so... without any casualities!

The best ending should have Shepard alive because the job of a Game Master is not to tell the players a story however the GM likes, but to provide for every possibility that leads to such a conclusion, as has been built by the GM and the players together.

That sounds like giving up to me. We will continue our fight for the endings we were promised. What we hoped for. I want my happy ending with my blue babies. And many many others want it too. But for the rest of your post I agree, they screwed up. but don't give up hope saying we won't get what we're seeking. It is still very, very possible. We'll gain ground, inch by inch if need be!

Given we actually got a Bioware reply that it wasn't something offically realsed by them? That garners some question marks from me but we'll see.

Again I say I am glad I am not alone in this, I mean I am a huge sucker for happy endings and having at all outcomes my FemShep dying was depressing enough, without the rest of the depressing crap with it. Add it together and I am a mess, which I know is pathetic but hey I'm an over-emotional person
