Hi Everyone, I am joining in to support our cause.

What a fool I had been to pre-order ME3 CE for PC AND PS3 months before release, trusting that BW brings this trilogy to an awesome end where choice matters.

I don't mind bad endings or Shepard dying; but not
without having a choice, chance to bring it all to a positive end or at least get some explanation what actually happened. I even regret buying the art book, comics, novels etc. as I will never touch it anymore. There is no desire to replay any of ME after the awful ending that has been burned into me head.

Incredible how in my opinion the best of all video games trilogies has been ruined in 10 minutes. I have been playing video games for 28 years and have never been immersed more into a video game as with ME. This is why I am here . This trilogy must not betray its own prinicples of choice and "we can do" attitude.

I am joining in. Hold the line fellow comrades...

The SSV Potato-Salad of the German fleet is with you. We'll hold the line.

Perhaps it's time for folk to take a rest, I agree with those who say expect nothing until monday, it's not going to help moral if you keep fretting over the weekend, enjoy your real lives, get drunk, go to the park with your family, but don't get stuck on this over the weekend.

This is just my advice, you choose whether to heed it, just don't make yourselves feel worse with expectation.

 I fully agree, we have
all spent the better part of 5 years tailoring and cultivating a character and
crew to our own moral standards. We built a rapport with them and I know personally
spent a lot of time on 2nd and even 3rd play through. So after all the time and
not to mention money spent on the games and DLC (which by the way is rendered
obsolete thanks to the ending) Bioware effectively told us that none of those
choices mattered. Even if there was even a text screen at the end that allowed
you to read about what happened afterwards, such as the Quarians re-establishing
Rannok or the Krogans rebuilding Tuchanka.

I had intended on starting again from ME1 and
doing a full play through, but considering the ending all i can say is
"What’s the point?" there is ZERO reward.

any news ?

how is Marauder Shields ?

Japan forums are blowing up with anger calling Mass Effect "Rent Effect" and they are still silent at Bioware HQ

Haha, I knew the Japanese would eventually come up with a nickname. Be glad they aern't making threat notes

P.S. if there are any Japanese citizens here who felt offended by that, I am sorry. It was in no way supposed to be a mean comment...just a reference for NG Evangelion and how its ending was dealt with.

I'm just glad to have them on ourside... all three major markets pissed off about tendings... maybe some over there should start the   RetakeMassEffect 3:   Pacific Fleet...  ^_^

As one of the Korean, Pacific Fleet sounds great :)

It may not help the morale for some, but the support and knowledge that you are with other, like-minded indivduals who feel the same way and are moved to act can also be of great help to some. Without this I think a lot of people would just be sitting at home, fuming and getting worked up. This is also an outlet for them.

Also, bear in mind that a lot of amusement and good has come from this; generally I'd say it's a good thing.

I know that's just your opinion/advice; but I thought I should offset it with mine :)

I'm not too sure of that. As of right now, the game has great critical reviews, and has only been out for a week. Many of the big review sites, such as IGN are posting stories about how rediculous fan complaints are.

Forget about IGN, seriously...

Remember that reporter from the game, Diane (?) Allers?
Accidentially this character was modeled after and is voice acted by Jessica Chobot, who happens to be some IGN starlet...
In other words, IGN is biased in favor of BioWare like there is no tomorrow.

this.

You know the really sour part. I've just spent a week blitzing all 3 games. During ME2 in one of the loading screens, it says something along the lines of 'Your actions in Mass Effect 2 will heavily influence the outcome of Mass Effect 3'

Ahem...

a nice sentiment. for me however, it's way too sunny outside. my pale skin and sun don't get along very well. and 20°c? you can hunt me with those kind of temperatures.
but the getting drunk part sounds like fun.

Ships can still travel without Relays. Galactic trade would be impossible, but systems and small clusters would do okay.

Stranding the Normandy so they can found a new colony is terrible though imo. A disappointing sendoff for the characters.

Except that the mass relays exploding ruins every terrestrial planet in the system they're in...says right in the ME3 codex, and in 'the arrival' DLC for ME2.  Galaxy is gone, man.

Marauder Shields tried so hard, but in the end even his inhuman effort wasn't enough.

I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting such a balanced review, I mean, overall the game is pretty great ( last few mins not included ).
