Forbes is hardly small, but it's also not really a gaming magazine.  It's a business mag...and if a business mag says this sort of thing is bad for business, then, well....

"We are definitely listening to opinions! Please feel free to add your feedback: " whenever someone writes to them that the ending really was downright disappointing and terrible.

Really, I have stopped caring wether or not they "listen" to opinions, I'm more concerned by "what are you going to *do* about those opinions?"  

This will take time my friend. We all wanted the ending we deserved when we first beat the game and it's insulting really that we have to fight so hard for something we may not get. But take heart, you're far from alone^_^

I appriciate it, fellow comrade-in-despair :happy:, but in the meantime Mass Effect 3 is becoming a running joke on the internet and even among people who haven't even played the game...illustrated by for instance nerfnow.com with their recent pearl posted just above ^ 

At least we're able to find humor in it. I've never seen more people in need of a good laugh than here. So I'll add my own :crying:(Yes, tears and smiles at the same time.)...I'm experiencing very mixed emotions

P.S. I had the EXACT same reaction to the ending. If I was sitting at a table I would have flipped that sucker. 

Hehe yeah. Once I got to the Catalyst and got my options explained I was like "WTF, THIS CAN BE RIGHT!" So I googled the endings before making a choice to find out if it actually was that retarded... Turns out it was After that i chose destroy as fast as I could, screw em all!

I'm impressed at how fair that review manages to be, despite nailing the ending issue so precisely.

SSV Cleveland signing back on. Just checking in on everyone. I can finally say I've gone past depression into a weird acceptance/anger stage that may be the final one. I finally don't feel so bad about the endings and in large part due to everyone here and I'm just pissed to be honest. I'm angry Bioware assumed I was so stupid. Someone said Shepard got the stupidest ending and I agree. Mordin's death made a difference. You, as hero, get to decide in what way you'll be commiting mass genocide (and in one color scheme!). Err ... thanks Bioware

Argh. So I thought I'd run through the collector base mission in 2 and it just reminded me of how infuriating the travesty of 3's ending was. How can something that makes you go omg, that is so freaking awesome with the whole scene of them escaping the collector base go to something that makes me want to tear my hair out >.<
