Fair enough, I guess I should have clarified the gaming media part. Thanks for pointing that out.Alamandorious wrote...

Very balanced. Very Funny. Very true.
I had a feeling Joe might agree with us. As do a lot of the smaller reviewers who aren't part of the mainstream media.
Feel free to make your own assumptions as to why that might be the case.
Forbes is hardly small, but it's also not really a gaming magazine. It's a business mag...and if a business mag says this sort of thing is bad for business, then, well....

Shepard: Admiral Hackett, what does the war terminal say about our military strenght?
Hackett: It's over 9000.
I would pay for DLC just to insert that line.

I have recently been following the Mass Effect twitter feed and I get a lot of responses from Bioware that say this:
"We are definitely listening to opinions! Please feel free to add your feedback: " whenever someone writes to them that the ending really was downright disappointing and terrible.
Really, I have stopped caring wether or not they "listen" to opinions, I'm more concerned by "what are you going to *do* about those opinions?"
This will take time my friend. We all wanted the ending we deserved when we first beat the game and it's insulting really that we have to fight so hard for something we may not get. But take heart, you're far from alone^_^
I appriciate it, fellow comrade-in-despair , but in the meantime Mass Effect 3 is becoming a running joke on the internet and even among people who haven't even played the game...illustrated by for instance nerfnow.com with their recent pearl posted just above ^
At least we're able to find humor in it. I've never seen more people in need of a good laugh than here. So I'll add my own

Yeah! To quote AngryJoe:
Mass Effect 3 is a pretty damn good game. It really gets across the feeling of the entire galaxy being consumed in total war.
It's a shame then that after 30 hours all I can remember, all that sticks out in my mind is the last 10 minutes.
Those last ****ing 10 minutes! That nearly ruins. No, ruins the entire franchise. It’s so insulting, so out of place, so unfulfilling and nonsensical. It makes no sense, and it goes against the Shepard character. And despite being promised that all your actions through all of the games, and acquiring all this war assets, that all of that would affect the ending; in a meaningful way. Then you realize that is hardly the case. You will have 3 options with slight variations ripped straight from Deus Ex and Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
