One question to synthesis ending: Shep is human so how can be his DNA/implants used to synthetize Asari, Turian and other species?

All biotics use Dark Energy im assuming it would go along those lines.

Not that it matters anyway because its not real! ;)

True, I think I'm gonna go play AC and Witcher. They aren't quiet as good but they are better then the bad taste I got left in my mouth after the ending. At this point in time I wish they had given me a generic "bad guys lose good guys win ending".

Funny enough, more and more people go for the "dark, grim, hero has to die ending", because the happy ending is too mainstream, that they don't realize their endings are becoming mainstream.

Also, I hope Yahtzee reviews Mass Effect 3 soon. Giving how much he loves multiplayer, I wonder what his reaction will be to the fact that you can't get the perfect ending without playing multiplayer.

Dear Commanders,
one of the team Engeneer of the SSV Telus have made an Extranet Page about this topic, he will update the data when he isn't at war, however it seems that the amount of data to track it's too high for him alone, he request help from other fleet members.

"To not use too much space here i will update my little page/site
http://onima.org/ME3/index.php "

However there are really too much data to insert alone, i need someone to help, suggestion and overall thinking about what changing, if you like it and have a lot of data i'll ask you to help with this sub-project.
To help send me a pm here or an email to goikiu@hotmail.it

I cannot stay up 24h/24h but i can give you 6/8h each day to help.

We need to hold the line.

SSV Telus Report Ended.

The Witcher and Risen 2 may yet save my RPG year.  I had pinned all my hopes on ME3 to keep me entertained post Skyrim but that replay ship has sailed.

I have recently been following the Mass Effect twitter feed and I get a lot of responses from Bioware that say this:

"We are definitely listening to opinions! Please feel free to add your feedback: " whenever someone writes to them that the ending really was downright disappointing and terrible.

Really, I have stopped caring wether or not they "listen" to opinions, I'm more concerned by "what are you going to *do* about those opinions?"  :(

As others and I've said we need patience - our brothers in the pacific are just joining the ranks - they are used to war; chin up soldier.  When this is over; I will be buying everyone drinks......

We're making history here folks - while paid reviewers are on damage control; other places; specially like Forbes is backing us.  That's not a small publication; my father reads forbes and respects most things that are printed in there.  He's old school; he's an accountant.

Too long have gamers been looked down upon; too long have we just shoved aside; ignored and shovelled crap and been told to just take it..........

Well; no we're not going to just take it.  We are taking a stand; we will HOLD THIS LINE.  We have been polite while they try to tear us down.  We have raised 50k+ for most excellent charity.  What have they done?  Called us entited; snobbish.

We are neither!!  We are not the minority; we are the majority; we will be heard; WE WILL HOLD THE LINE......because anything and We're already dead!!!

Also checking in on the tweet front; looks like its ave 80%+ love the game hate the ending.  BW is listening. So we keep it clean; we keep is respectful........most of all WE HOLD THE LINE........WHO'S WITH ME?!?!

Fine speech /salute. We must hold, their listening will eventually turn in to action, we just must be patient. If it doesn't, then we TAKE the line!

Don't mean to be a nag, but I ask again, please keep pyramid quotes to a minimum, only quote what's relevant otherwise it could be viewed as spam and you risk getting the thread closed.
I would also please ask that some folk put a little substance in their posts, single smileys and words can also be seen as spam.

Personally, I got the feeling that the writers somehow missed why many people love Mass Effect.

In the three games, the writers created some truly amazing characters that the players came to love; just remember all the threads about "so and so for squadmate". Of course, there is also Shepard, a character we created years ago, a character we followed on a long and hard journey, always fighting to make sure the Commander survives no matter how bad the situation.

Looking at this, is it really so hard to understand that the players want to know what happens to their beloved characters? Is it so hard to believe that after everything Shepard has had to go through, there are some of us who wished for a "happy end" (not talking about magic rainbows and stuff, just Shepard survives and goes "we did it. I'm retiring" at the end)? Is it so hard to believe that some of us hoped for retirement, old age and a lot of blue kids ever since we played LotSB?

One quick question that keeps nagging me:

While I am not totally commited to wanting a "happy, rainbowy" Ending, how would this ending even be possible?

Even if we would rip the reapers apart and are all "We did it!" would that allow for a perfectly happy ending for the Trilogy? We may have won the final battle, but what about the sacrifices we made to get there? Wouldn't the resulting Reflection of our Shepard (or his/her Squadmates depending on Shepards Survival) in form of an epilogue still end quite bittersweet?

(That's what I thought about the Lord of the Rings Ending too actually. Live goes on and the enemy is vanquished, but the fellowship still dwells on what happend for a long time)
