bioware what did you do?
I will fully admit, Bioware turned me into a sheep Albeit an internally raging against sheepdom but I have full on wool and baaaaaah.
As much as I hate the endings of ME3, as much as I have been railing against making pre set choices rhather than the ones I *want* to make, guess what I'm doing? I started up ME against last night even though I have no interest in the stupid Mako, dodging thresher maws or my sniper rifle sliding all over creation. I will kill Wrex even though it feels so wrong to me. I will make every choice needed from here on out to get the 4k WA needed for the special ending.
WHY am I being a sheep despite my railing against these concepts? Simple Paranoia. I can watch the ending where maybeShep takes a breath on youtube but what if I need that specific save for something in the future? I have to have one actual save of my own to use even if I hate the journey of getting to there.
I'd actually argue that Bioware has been extremely successful. I have been Indoctrinated. I may rail against it all but I'm still replaying this **** the way THEY want me to.
Thanks guys, I needed that. Guess this ends sucks in all cultures, languages, and in all situations. It is impossible to find so much consuses over any subject world wide as this utter failuyre of an ending. Pride alone has to say to BW - we do NOT want to be remebered like this!Hydralysk wrote...

They are far from quiet, and are shouting as loudly as we are and saying the same thing. Of course they are not shouting in English, nor do many of them speak/write English, so they are not posting on here.
True, earlier we had someone who could speak japanese scrolling through japanese forums and they seemed just as pissed about the endings as we are.

You can play the MP instead, it's not good, but it is average enough as a horde co-op mode that the 3-5 levels you need to get enough readiness is not that bad.LadyMarisa wrote...

The other day I noted in jest that this was the first time in history that the English, German's and French had all agreed with each other.

Justin Bieber songs have a happier ending than ME3, at least the song is over, yes?
his songs are driving you insane while played, and you want them to stop. Once finished, you are glad, and you never want to hear anything like that.
Mass Effect 3 is an awesome game you enjoy playing, and don't want to stop. Once finished, you are - insert green blue or red..
wait what

Mr. Thore2k10 you are one of the lucky ones. I am in total support of the OP. It has been over a week since I saw that ending. In the meantime I tried playing other games such as L.A. Noire (which I really like), Assassin's Creed Revelations (that I didn't finish yet) and even a simple PES 2012 that does not require any focus or mind work. I must say all those attempts ended up in epic failure. Though I can play these games I have no joy on doing so..
I even tried starting a new ME game from the very beginning, but when I got to the bombs in Eden Prime I began to ask myself "what is the point?". Bioware managed to do something much worse than simply delivering a "bad" game, they spolied any joy that gaming used to give me for the time being. Eventually it will wear off and I may be able to play again, but for now, I am done.
Luckly I am an addicted reader, and hardly a week goes by where I do not read a book (novels though I must read didatic books also to accomplish my job), and lately I have just been rereading some novels (fantasy btw) that I really liked. Those I 've been reading are in series, and in one case (Stormlight Archive) only the first book was released and on the other (Kingkiller Chronicles), only two were. However I know those two writers, I love their style and I trust their "artistic view" knowing that they won't have a change of heart only to give the public and fans a twist (in ME3 it was more like a ceasure). and even though their tales are far from complete, they still give me a lot more closure than ME3 did.
For those who are as outraged as I am regarding ME3, I will say that I am holding the line and I will remain here till the bitter end. But now is not a matter of changing the end or a matter of getting closure for the sage. I am here because it's a matter of duty. They played us for fools and offended our intellect and our dignity, and that cannot be neither forgiven of forgotten. So I say, the line will hold.

Yeah if you have a xbox without live subscription disregard my statement, paying to play a mediocre MP to get a marginally better ending is definely not a good idea.LadyMarisa wrote...

No sorry, I have no interest in multiplayer. I won't pay for Xbox gold. I could rail against it some more but If I'm honest with myself I might even break down and use the 2 day pass at some point. Currently, Id still rather do a set of saves where I kill Kaidan instead of Ashley and wind up romancing garrus than play multiplayer. I have MMOs for multiplayer. I really don't want MP to affect my SP but heck, i'll probably cave and do that at some point too.
Honestly, I'm so sheepified at this point I'll probably be watching Ow my balls in a few years while someone destroy my home.

Justin Bieber is one thing I could stomp at every single time, and I am not honoring what he achieved (making a ton of money with utterly horrible music). Comparing that with the best gaming series I know of (note: I do not say "one of the best") does sound like desecration for me. (Had to look that up in a dictionary - perhaps someone has a better word for me)
