Anyone read the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini? The ending of ME3 reminds me of that seriries. No reasonable resolution to the LI. No reason to go away forever. Just forced and rushed. Could be just me...
I was thinking the very same thing. I know for a fact that Paolini's writing style is poor compared to other artists of our time, but at least the story was interesting...
However, the ending was a massive failure as well. I only read the last book once, and I was WTF?? Never touched it again. But now that you mentioned it, maybe Bioware writers decided to follow the same line of ending.... who knows?
maybe since we all keep buying this stuff, they think its really really good.
hold the line.
The difference is that the book advertising didn't promise me multiple endings according to my choices and actions. When I was done reading, I knew that was it, and moved on to better writers and better books. Even if the story didn't have a closure, I had one, meaning "Paolini, you ......" and that was it...
But here, my Sheppards (note the plural) don't have their closures, and I don't have mine....
So, either Bioware comes up and offers its most sincere apologies regarding its sub par game and poor writing (including the many plot holes) or I will just forget that Bioware ever existed and move on, to better companies and better games....
