Credit for the sig must go to Sl4sh3r - he's done a bucketload of them for the cause already!

Great to meet one of my fellows on BSN during such a difficult time.

And thanks Sl4sh3r. Your hard work is appreciated.

None so far, other than ME3 twitter acceping ideas for ending. (Not sure if serious.)

It's just to get fans focused on constructive and positive thinking towards the ending.  They wanted speculation and theories, so...they will encourage this at every turn.

Doesn't mean anything else though.

Just fill the fleets with anti flee shampoo and bombs away!

Believe it or not that's essentially the plot of the film 'Evolution'

I love that film ^^ Napalm? Nope, just makes it bigger and angrier? Head and Shoulders delivered via a fire engine powered rectal injection? yeah, that does the trick ^^

Some guy who filed a complaint against Bioware. It's not like this would throw stones in our way.*sigh*

That comment says it all in the long run.

Interesting take here from another thread about that "artistic" so called ending - Quote: "

I think this is the bigger topic being lost in all of this. The gaming industry SHOULD be changed. For me, I am tired of spending upwards of $60 for something I felt is rushed and incomplete.

I don't buy and play video games for art. If I wanted art I would go to a museum or look at a picture or painting. EA/BW made a PRODUCT to mass sell. I am not happy with this product and many other products gaming companies are putting out now. It's time for gaming companies PRODUCTS to adhere to what they promised us consumers - I am a consumer of video games not an art lover. I stare at art, I play games. You promise me something about this game product to make me buy it, then I want what I was promised. Same for any other gaming company.

Come on folks - this is far more bitter FOR BW than any of them could have ever imagined. ME3 turned out to be an utter disaster world wide - that has to very, very bitter for them. It is no wonder why they kep hoping things would get better first as Europe released which turned out to be the same reaction as North and South America. Their last hope for redemption rested on the far East which is also turning into an utter disaster for BW - and now those results are beginning to show the exact same reaction as those of us here on this thread and others.

This is a BETTER, BITTER blow for BW and its more than understandable for them to be so silent as they have - it is far worst than any of them could ever have imagine.

I'd like to quote someone:

Suck it up Princess - Dave Gaider

The quote is not meant for you personally but for BW.
One must be blind not to see the atrocity of the ending the game got, so yeah.
I'm sorry, but i don't feel anything for them.

And hold the line, i hope this isn't in vain.

I find it ironic that the creators of one of the most beloved plot twists in gaming (Revan in KOTOR) managed to also make one of the worst. Amazing.

I'm sure this has been brought up before, but I have a simple question:

Is it possible to mod the game, so that we send Conrad Verner up the beam, rather than Shepard?

+1.  It takes months to find a customer, but only minutes (10 minutes in this case) to lose one.

BW's Hubris created this situation.  A Mea Culpa would go a long in in repairing it.

Jessica Merizan also said they crashed on earth(which based on the whole 2 moons isnt possible).....She seems nice enough but she doesn't have any special inside info. The fact that it was a relatively narrow beam of energy that struck the Normandy is proof enough that they were in mid-relay transit, if you watch the ending you see the energy came in two types 1) large spherical outwardly expanding waves that came from the relay explosion and 2) relatively narrow beams that shot between the relays(the same type that hit the normandy) hence why they had to be in transit between 2 relays.

Also there is no planet like that that they could have reached with FTL speeds in that amount of time.
Only explanation that makes sense is that somehow the mass relays create something of a corridor and that the normandy was knocked out of this corridor by the beam.

Agreed, the different types of energy (wave vs. beam) make the conclusion that they were traveling at standard FTL speed unlikely. Also, if they were traveling at standard FTL speed, making contact/reaching the Normandy would be a far more likely than never seeing them again so we wouldn't have the implied descendents (Grandfather and Child) talking about one day reaching the stars.
