NO! Mass Effect 1 - recall the arasi near Sarin's office? She said it takes two weeks in the presence of Saren's ship to BEGIN to feel the effects. But if you were to get away then that link in broken BEFORE becoming like the rest of the droolers.

In the context of the ME3 universe you must apply an ample amount of . So in the end it makes perfect sense.
