well...

it might not be ok - but if it gets their attention, it might be good....(so, yeah, I am a little conflicted about that, but to get "my" sheppard on it, he would do that (hack their site that is!)...but he would of course go to many lengths, if you pissed him of, like they did to us!)

But...

On my way to the bus, I noticed somebody had taped a sign to one of the larger directional signs located on campus. All it said was, "Catalyst" with an arrow pointing somewhere down the street. Perhaps a reference to ME3, perhaps not, but it made me do a double take.

Guys, the best thing to do with that complaint thread is to just not go there, damage is done, now let us distance ourselves from it. We knew something like this would eventually happen, hell it probably already has a few times by now.

Again, re-quoting the original post, and my other one, to emphasize the need to bring the hammer down on this, hard.  No-one here discussed ftc complaints, at all, and nor do we want to go that route.  This will bring bad media down on us.  Get over there and post replies indicating that the vast majority of us do not want this, and if any other articles come up with this, do the same...do not let them think we as a whole, or even a majority, support the action listed in the article.

I do not support what he is doing BUT he is within his rights to try. We will win this by keeping our heads held high and letting them know on this forum we do not support it. Being civil and decent will win this; but it is also his rights. I am sure the Retake Mass Effect 3 would all agree that we did not want this and he/she is acting alone.

I wouldn't do that. But is his right to do, if he feels that way. This will generate attention. I'm not sure if in a good way. But let's not get involved at all. Let's not do it or support, but let's also not go against it, and polarize the fighting.

We are in this to protect Mass Effect 3 and in turn Bioware. We wan't change and dialogue, not this... If this crap blows up it's one more front for us I'm afraid
Still, in this case atleast we are allied with the people that have rabidly defended Bioware so far. It sucks to be against them, we should know.
