Heh, nothing like broad, sweeping generalizations. I have a feeling that the gamer community is a lot more diverse than folks like this fellow think.  Also, a misinterpretation of what the main objection is. Whether intentional or not, I don't know.

I'm more concerned whether this will make a bunch of others think that those people's actions represents all of us. If that happens, then our battle here will be a bit more difficult. Hopefully Bioware will keep in mind this is not how we all feel.

I completely agree with this. Just stick to your own guns and don't even bother giving it the time of day. This thread has turned into a large, large group of people, discussing how bad they think they ending is, how badly they want it changed and doing it all in a mature and (at least in my opinion) non-over-the-top way. 

If people want to react like that then let them. Don't disagree for the sake of it or our efforts will be wasted.

We are not going to win this any way. The game has been out for over a week with these complaints and we have yet to hear a thing. BioWare is going to stay silent until this blows over.

Well, you do live in the US where they sue over hot coffee - MacDonald's, and name it some one sued - this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. However, BW is a Canadians company here in Alberta, Canada - LMAO - good luck with that baby.

But EA is not Canadian...

To tell the truth I suggest it is EA who sees the possibility of tons more money to be made WITH a new ending dlc. The hold up seems to be coming out of BW.

Alright people, get over to the site and leave a comment saying we DON'T WANT this. This will generate bad media, fast.

why not? - they do not seem to listen (hell, i might have been harsh in some of my postings, but I didn't call them names or was all that unfriendly...i just presented harsh oppinions I have) and this might get their attention (it is about time that a video-game-producer got really called on selling a product to us that was wrongly advertised and thus people bought it that would otherwise have told them (EA/Bioware): there is no way you will get money from me for that!)

That guy's probably just trolling. For all we know he's some guy working for Bioware's PR. I mean seriously this happened like a couple of hours ago and the media's already picked this up? Took them a day to pick up on the Retake movement.
And shame on those who are suddenly abandoning our cause at the first sight of trouble. Shame on you. *smh*

As for raging comments, will always be those on the internet, not much to do about it. Always found it fascinating that its found accepted to brush of everyone with a differing opinion and/or complaint due to a few people though.

By such standards i would accept that all politicians are corrupt, that all police officers are corrupt and triggerhappy maniacs and so on and so forth.

Above all else we need to make sure to stay civil and respectful to EVERYONE. Keep the Bioware bashing to a minimum and don't get ugly towards the people who are taking these actions.

Bioware is monitoring these forums, so if they see us continue to be civil then it'll speak louder than words alone.

Apfelweinbrauer and I postet it a couple of pages back. The whole thing was going very smooth and civalized, then this had to happen. Right now, a lot of media are looking for a way to bash us. They are looking for reasons why they are right in calling us entitled brats. And with this we just threw the wolf a large piece of meat.
