As a supporter of the Retake ME3 movement I do not agree with the actions of "El_Spiko" and I feel it goes against the core ideals of what we stand for.

Ermh, sorry I got confused at the first line you wrote there... Where in the world did you get that idea from?alberta wrote...
I'm not in this for the media attention one way or the other. They are perfectly free to write what ever they wish - I'm an adult and that's really easy to take after the ME 3 ending. BUT that cuts both ways as well. Many gaming sites are off my list forever and I will never trust them again.
If a fan or fans wants to take action - so be it - the entire gaming industry needs to be changed anyway. If I want art I'll look at picture or go to a museum - that was NOT the deal between me and BW. BW would produce a video game from mass marketing and at no time have I ever indicated by my choices I was in the market for art.
Next, I'm not a crazed fan and I don't care who thinks otherwise - I'm a consumer and I carefully buy products that appeal to me. MY money my choices. My decisions are so far from the crazed fan image I no longer give a damn.
Yes, this ending made this fan do something he/she never, ever wished to have happened and I can't personally blame he/she. They never asked nor agreed to art either. And if anyone is in this for how the press thinks of our displeasure - then YOU are in for a heck of a lot of needless emotion and pain that never should have affected you in the first place.

Apparently the @masseffect twitter approves of childish idiots calling us "spoiled ****ing ****s" - this is more weight towards the argument that the twitter feed is just a bot. And right after I left a comment on that Forbes article agreeing with him, wish I could delete it:Finch Lynch @finchlynch
Regarding the @masseffect 3 ending and people protesting it: I think you're spoiled ****ing ****s and cant wait til you have real problems.

They told us this is what we would get. If something had chaged during development they should have changed their statements to more accurately reflect the final product. They didn't, which means they started using lies to sell the product (false advertisement). IMO, those guys filing complaints have a decent case.
In truth, I don't disagree with that. But I think it's too early for this. It's not why the line is being held, we are trying to give BioWare the benefit of the doubt, to make an explenation to do something. Especially since usually we have a good communication with BioWare.
FTC complaint (at least for me) is something you do when you're and your complaint to the company that it is about, is being ignored by that company. It's only been so long since the game even came out. Yes, we claim we've been lied to, but lets BioWare answer first, or wait a few weeks. THEN if nothing happens do the deed.

Just keep your cool, everything will be fine. Bioware already supported us yesterday by saying we are the civil ones, when they locked down the forum because of the abuse. And whenever they call us a vocal minority, Bioware stands up for us too, so dont worry, they know the movement wont do this.AshleyMadelineWilliams wrote...

Hmm, is this a bit pretentious sounding to post over at gamepur?

That's not pretentious.
'Pretentious' would be to claim that a shooter/RPG hybrid turns into a piece of 'nonrepresentational' art in its last 5 minutes.
