The Indoctrination theory is maybe the only thing that keeps me going (and you all of course are always there to dust me off) if that wouldn't exist i would have never gone to this forum or researched the internet about this goddamn ending(s).

Right......"indocrination theory"....of course.

PS:Read this with the turian concilor voice.

When I was playing ME2 the other day I really began to miss the auto fish feeder. Such a shame a nearly perfect game was ruined (for me) in the final 10 minutes.

Kelly was your auto fish feeder.

Poor Kelly :crying:

Once again Forbes is really onto to the core facts here. Our protest IS great for the entire gaming industry. In the long run this is worth all the pin and sorrow we yet have to endure - this is a protest EVER GAMING company is watching very, very closely. As is the press. The outcome we achieve will fail and the gaming industry will continue their same old tired rountine - or we will succeed and change gaming for the better all around.

Could you link this up I'm on my iPod and can't C and P. thanks

Bravo Forbes! If it were a woman I'd marry it.

Dare I say we have to potential to change the industry, or is that pushing it?

Oh - if anyone asks for proof -

http://bit.ly/ys4S3F

I sent this link to the Twitterbot to see if any human is actually glancing over at it once in a while. If so, I expect someone's going to have an "oh sh-" moment. At least, I'm granting Bioware the benefit of the doubt to hope so.

I believe that "holding the line" includes abstaining from the MP weekend. If you think playing is harmless to the cause, keep in mind the higher the participation numbers, the more EA brass assumes the fuss has blown over and everyone's ready for some DLC.

That's just my opinion though.

For years to come companies will be trying not to "pull a Bioware"

Even if we don't, we're setting a framework for the future...I at least hope that from now on other communities follow our lead for donating to charity and using civil posts and arguments, because that just makes gamers look waaaay better as a whole :)

Plus, if they do, lots of people who benefit from charities will, well, benefit.

Yeah, not a problem here.  I tried loading up MP, couldn't even bring myself to do it, exited the game.

You got a fair point there. Doubt I will participate anyway since I will probably be here instead :D

I would say: Botfail. I don't think they really would do this. Even if they don't like us.

The FTC should ONLY be an end game strategy. Its much too early for that. Unless Bioware comes out and makes a statement that unequivocally in no uncertain terms tells the community to go to hell, the FTC shouldnt even come into the picture.
That said, We ARE consumers. We arent fans. Fandom comes after the fact. I am ( or was ) a Fan of Bioware, But i am also a consumer who purchased a product at a store that was manufactured by Bioware that did not live up to its advertising.
If we keep couching our statements in emotional "it dun work" type scenarios, they are never going to listen no matter how many of us there are. But if we state clearly, I purchaesed the product, it failed to live up to its advertising in ways a. b. c. and we would like a rewrite, thern we are standing on much more solid ground.
and no,, It wasnt I that filed the complaint. I was asleep, and wish i still was..

LOL, so true.

And then I screwed up, thought I got to the base fast enough, didn't, watched poor Kelly get liquified and felt like a jerk for being annoyed at the poor thing :(

Felt worse when I found out you could actually save them.  Was going to do another ME2 playthrough *just for that* to import into my next ME3 run, but it's looking like there never will be a next ME3 run. :pinched:
