I'd just like to remind anyone who hasn't done so already to leave a comment showing that you are not a supporter of this action.

If we keep rocking this thing long enough Bioware has to budge

Bioware confirmed that the behind the scenes publication was A) six months old data, B0 Not a bioware publication and c) in no way shape or form connected to bioware.  in other words, it was and is nothing more than an author trying to rake in some money from this debacle.

Yes, well... At the risk of drawing the ire of unclee as we move too close to a debate over the indoctrination theory rather than the ending more generally, the behind the scenes footage still serves as a backdrop from which we can view the evidence. It's a private release, yes, but it contains primary sources of data - the very sketches and drafts of the ending as originally planned. It's possible that at some really, really late date BioWare looked at the ending, said to themselves, "Wow. This is horrible. How can we use this but also not really use it?" and then threw together some clues for indoctrination to be placed throughout the game, but I stand by the Prothean VI.

Its indoctrination sensor has been overriden the second time you talk with it, but the first time, while it is fully functional, it freely engages in dialogue until Cerberus shows up, at which point the sensor goes off and it shuts down. According to indoctrination theorists, at least most of them, they maintain that the process of indoctrination began somewhere like, Arrival, and was manifested in this game by the child. I suppose it's theoretically possible that there wasn't "enough" indoctrination yet, or some such, but that still seems hollow to me... an attempt to make something clever out of what we got, which was anything but.

On that note though, nobody would be happier than I would be if it turns out I'm wrong. I honestly think that they only tweeted that "disregard behind the scenes stuff as canon sources" so that people would have a reason to continue coming up with theories around their ending. It's not exactly what they wanted (lots of speculation!) but it's closer than all of them simply complaining about how horrible it was.

So far Bioware has always delivered what their customers wanted (putting DA2 aside, as I hear).

Why would they miserably fail this time and do things that a sane company would never do? Literally destroying their own franchise and abandon their customers. NO! That they would never do! I think that we only need to be patient.

I am quite certain that we will see an epilogue DLC at some point.

I say he made the hop one system over and crashed on Pandora. Even has the multiple moons/bodies in the sky. Makes perfect sense....

He then has to join up with a Commando , a Siren, and a GunZerker to try and find a vault to get back home.. It's a game within a game!!!!

From John Riccitello's (CEO of EA) Wikipedia page:

“The company is expected to close its current fiscal year in March with a 13% revenue gain and adjusted net income up 32% from the previous year. Overall revenue is expected to pass the $4 billion mark this year.

I am in no way accusing Bioware as I believe we should assume they are working with the fans in mind first. However, you can imagine an order given from a higher-up at EA to Bioware, "We need our profits to look good for the share holders so we need Mass Effect pushed out the door in March so we can get those sales. The game isn't done? I don't care, just slap on an ending and get it out there, we can just charge them for DLC afterward. We pay our PR team for a reason."

Again not accusing anyone as I can't know what went on for sure. However, this is why fans get scared when their favorite developers are bought out by bigger parent companies. Deadlines need to be met, so valued fans simply become customers.

Well, I have no idea about it. But I think I remember a recent interview (video, I think) from "the doctors" (or other important guy from BW) where they admit that DA2 was rushed because of fiscal year pressures. I wonder if that happened again in ME3. And if it did, why didn't anyone foresee this? No schedule on the production? Not able to keep things on schedule? No measures to put late stuff back on schedule? Did it really happened on 2 consecutive games? Shame on who?

actually I find the whole scene improbable.
  • Eezo cores with a bunch of technology allows for FTL travel.
  • Explosion from Relay travels FTL also? um..../scratches head
  • How does the propagation wave from a relay explosion stay FTL without supporting technology keeping the mass of particles of the wave in a state to maintain its FTL velocity? If this was possible why have Relays in the first place?
Just food for thought, cheers

We absolutely have to keep all this up, until Bioware CAN give us an answer.

I honestly cannot even conceive the possibility they are not just waiting for "everyone" to finish the game before giving us a real answer. It's been barely 1 day since JP release.. so...

Hold the line!

I thought the ME3 ending was the most awful ending in the history of games yet I didn't think attack of the clones was THAT bad. What does that make me?:(

I know, I tried to stay away from the obvious and focus on the new; I have all kinds of thoughts bubbling up at random it seems, and every now and then a massive beam of coherent thought starts to jump from node to node in my brain, causing thoughts to explode in my...wait...this sounds familiar.

She told me my brother had got the game the same time I did, finished it in 3 days too, and flew into the biggest rage ever.

My mom asked me about the game this morning before she left for work.....she told me to hang in there and that she hopes we can get something to happen.

So - BW took the time to dump a lesbian on me instead of Kelly who was perfect in the role. Next BW took the time to have gay relation - striking the fear of God in me - I was terrified I'd say the wrong thing to any male not know who was what. Ashley turned out to be gloom and doom itself walking around - I couldn't even like her and God I tried enough but just couldn't stomach her at all. Then I get dumped with an idiot reporter whose only good line was - death follows that women around referring to Ashley. I though I'd get Emily Wong and it should have been Emily not this thing.

Next if you romanced Jack she goes off and dumps you for the kids. Miranda dumps you for her sister and you never see her again. No one will talk to you on your ship except needing something. You spend all your time running around alone. What the hell happened to character inner crew actions being the strength of BW games? There was none in ME3.

The fact is BW tried to accomplish too much and never did everything really badly. That is outside of the Geth/Quarians and the perhaps Mordin. Even the action was forced and repetitive. The TIM merely parks at the citadel and simply walks to the child idiot holo/ while I get to choose even dumber kiss my butt living room color scheme posters. Hell even the Reaper fleet ignored all my hard work putting together the largest war fleet in history - the Reapers just stayed on earth and didn't even bother to come out and fight with my fleet. What was all my running around for then?

This is not good for BW - the more time I get to take this game apart the most I despise it.

I have some friends still playing too. I really want to warn them just so they can brace themselves and it won't hit quite as hard, but they really really don't want any spoilers. I feel bad for them.
