Er....that doesn't make any sense. The Normandy couldn't have gotten far enough away in that short period of time to end up on a whole new world >.< Still woulda been between star systems at best, or still in Sol somewhere.
actually I find the whole scene improbable.Just food for thought, cheers
- Eezo cores with a bunch of technology allows for FTL travel.
- Explosion from Relay travels FTL also? um..../scratches head
- How does the propagation wave from a relay explosion stay FTL without supporting technology keeping the mass of particles of the wave in a state to maintain its FTL velocity? If this was possible why have Relays in the first place?
So we can't get the ending we want after all?

I get the feeling the people who liked the ME3 endings are the same people who think George Lucas actually planned out all six Star Wars movies at the same time and will honestly say "No really, Attack of the Clones wasn't that bad!"
Somehow I have a hunch these are the same people.
I thought the ME3 ending was the most awful ending in the history of games yet I didn't think attack of the clones was THAT bad. What does that make me?
Actually, the only thing I really disliked in Attack of the Clones was the romance between Anakin And Padme. I quote Yahtzee: "To say Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman had chemistry in that film is like saying that a chair stacked on another chair is a sizzlingly erotic love scene."
Gotta love this guy. Also looking forward to his review of Mass Effect 3.

however, if we look in ME2, we see the scene where the Normandy is being attacked by the "dormant" collector ship. Now, stepping back a bit further in the story, we learn that the normandy is able to generate its own ( limited ) jump point. The result is, they make a jump and escape the collector ship. This is different than FTL as FTL is what we use to travel between planets and systems within a system. this was a definite jump.

I didn't even have the change the disc lol
Crazy, isn't it? I don't have disks, but I do have Deus Ex series on Steam. Tough they are not installed, so somehow Bioware managed to jump my download speed to 10 gB/s.

It's my personal opinion that the entire mass effect trilogy was the setup to a pun:
Solution Green is Reaple.
Quote of the day from BSG ep7 Baltar to Number 6 (same actress as EDI):
"I want answers and I want them now and I am not interested in playing any more of your stupid games!"

I have some friends still playing too. I really want to warn them just so they can brace themselves and it won't hit quite as hard, but they really really don't want any spoilers. I feel bad for them.
told the guy at work that's playing.....he said...we'll it shouldn't be great, the rEApers are a really formidable opponent.....

That bit when Garrus quotes that makes me.
I was alone at the end, he woke up to find me crying, ahaha. And the came back from work to find me crying. The crying has now stopped (how sad am I!), but the thought of DLC is keeping me going.
My friends don't understand, they are like "It's a game...so..?"
I understand you. My superior good ending for Mass Effect:
Garrus and Shepard, arm in arm, Garrus carrying Shepard, Shepard helping Garrus, both wounded. And Garrus says:
"If the best Sniper of the Citadel would not held your back...where would you be now?!"
Shepard: "Propably waiting at that bar in heaven Garrus!".
Those brothers in arms, I want a good ending to them.

So - BW took the time to dump a lesbian on me instead of Kelly who was perfect in the role. Next BW took the time to have gay relation - striking the fear of God in me - I was terrified I'd say the wrong thing to any male not know who was what. Ashley turned out to be gloom and doom itself walking around - I couldn't even like her and God I tried enough but just couldn't stomach her at all. Then I get dumped with an idiot reporter whose only good line was - death follows that women around referring to Ashley. I though I'd get Emily Wong and it should have been Emily not this thing.
Next if you romanced Jack she goes off and dumps you for the kids. Miranda dumps you for her sister and you never see her again. No one will talk to you on your ship except needing something. You spend all your time running around alone. What the hell happened to character inner crew actions being the strength of BW games? There was none in ME3.
The fact is BW tried to accomplish too much and never did everything really badly. That is outside of the Geth/Quarians and the perhaps Mordin. Even the action was forced and repetitive. The TIM merely parks at the citadel and simply walks to the child idiot holo/ while I get to choose even dumber kiss my butt living room color scheme posters. Hell even the Reaper fleet ignored all my hard work putting together the largest war fleet in history - the Reapers just stayed on earth and didn't even bother to come out and fight with my fleet. What was all my running around for then?
This is not good for BW - the more time I get to take this game apart the most I despise it.

Someone could explain me about the "marauder shields"?
You know that Marauder that shoots you in the arm after you acquire the magical infinite ammo gun? That was the brave Marauder Shields. He was trying to stop you from reaching the ending. He tried to save you from depression and general skull-****ery. And he was the first to give his life holding the line.
Remember his sacrifice. Hold the line.
Oh, my! Brave fellow!
Anyway, thank you guys for explaing it to me!

Thing is, also sorry for piggybacking. Is if that was conventional FTL and not a "jump" per se. Who is to know? From our perspective, no matter if it was a "jump" or FTL, if you were observing it, they would look the same, the ship would just disappear. Because either way it's moving faster than light.

The game is awesome but the ending is BAD , I believe BW finished the game early 2010 when they presented for the first time to the public. And they forced to focus in MultiPlayer "MP" rather than rectifying the end into different sense, because the fans demanded MP in ME3, which was priority number one for BW. We paid the price for having poor ending because no body brought their attention to make the ending very intrusive.
I am not MP, I am pure RPG player. I love the story and events and I seldom join MP unless my friend requested me to do so.
All in all, I wish there is a secret ending and I support Hallucination ending theory for the current ME3.

I haven't even been able to drink the memory of it away.
I just... how did they... why... I mean, didn't someone play it? Didn't someone play it and say "Hmmmm... this is utter ****."
This is all BW's fault, going on about hope and how there is always another way. Damn them for giving me optimism. Garrus, you were right. Better to remain a cynic forever and not be surprised when someone puts their hand through a meat grinder and tells me it's strawberry sorbet.

Yes, it is true. There was a person on this Forum who posted a FTC complain and told us all with great pride.
We have already took distance from this move, as it was not out intention to go to FTC. So we from RetakeMassEffect keep our name clear.
An article has already been wrote by a magazine, was quickly downvoted and commented as "Not our intention, he is a single person."
