Time to ignore the troll ladies and gents, and just a reminder to the rest of you, stay civil, do not attack anyone, and HOLD THE LINE!

THIS! Please.

Stay focus and hold the line!!!

Note: They wanted the ending to be this way so no one should blame it on same-sex relationships nor MP. They wanted players to have questions....as shown in their notes. So again, let's keep our eyes on the goal. We can do it!! :wizard:

Just why??? Mass Effect was a sweet Sci Fi Space Adventure with great characters and some romance thrown in not INCEPTION were it was expected that it leaves with questions??!!!!

Oh I agree and I have no idea. I am not defending their decision. But this is what they wanted plain and simple.

Impressive, 1500 pages and still going strong. Like many have said, yall are doing great.

Still tempted to do a ME1-ME3 as full on Renegade though...

Hold the line!

LMAO - you are so sensitive YOU'RE finding outrage when NONE existed. That is all in YOUR mind NOT mine!

Alright, let me try this approach.

Right now, bud, there are a lot of media scruitinizing this movement.  We had one magazine start off against under the assumption we were all protesting the homosexual content in the game, but turned to our favour when they noticed that wasn't the case.  Forbes magazine, a huge win for the Retake Mass Effect 3 movement considering it isn't even a gaming magazine.

Other online gaming sites, big and small, are looking into this situation.  If we start even -hinting- that we're anti-homosexual, at all, then we will lose support.  That is why we've kept this thread totally clean from that, and you'll notice that your comment was instantly thought of as being in that light.

We are sensitive, because we are being looked at with a fine tooth comb right now, and ANYTHING like that will set us back.

Not only that, but the mods WILL shut this thread down if you start with more comments like that.

So if you want to post that belief, go make your own thread.  Here, we can't afford to have that kind of view come across, intentionally or not.

Understand now?

If you want to voice your more angry opinions please email bioware directly, if you want to say it fine, but don't post it here.

What are YOU the PC police? Folks have every right to voice their displeasure.

Yeah well you voice your "displeasure," doesn't bode well for our image because you're doing everything we're not. You're not being clam and rational about it like we are. you are to some degree straight up bash the Devs.

Your image? Who you doing this for YOUR image? Or a better ending?

It is OUR image because we're a group that has an obvious dislike of the ending. And the way to get our point across is not by saying closeminded hateful things to bioware that can and will get you banned from the forums.

We want to be taken seriously because if we just straight up used swear words, and immature yelling they would either:

A) Lock this thread,
B) ban everyone who said bad against Bioware,
C) Ignores us completely, which is not our goal
or
D) All of the above.

THink before you speak, keep it civil and refrane from anything hurtful or bashing at Bioware (and other users)

LOl - This deeply offends me - every single one of you ACCUSED me of Bashing GAYS - not one of you had THE COMON SENSE TO ASK ME IF THAT WAS MY INTENT. Here you can only speak in blurbs - if anyone had any question then have the common decency to ask before YOU open your mouth as well.

500 more and we will probably break a record here...if we haven't already.

How is the donation going, btw?

$54,446 currently, any extra donations are welcome.

I think someone mentioned that a Tali thread was bigger back in the day (guessing this is 'put tali as a squadmember in me3') but I have no clue how big it was.

EDIT: I'll just quote this as well for exposure "Guys, don't feed the rager, just ignore him. Reposting what he said and
thus filling whole page with his rant is bad enough, but we also can get
a lockdown because of this."

That IS amazing. Good job everyone! We can do this. Even if they don't change the ending, we helped a great cause. Aww, I'm so proud of everyone :)

SSV Mortis enroute to line, happy to inform fleet that we are escorting supply ships carrying clean underwear, real coffee (not the decaf stuff they fostered off on us) and Tali and Garus plushy's.

Stand by...recieving transmission...decrypting...forwarding to Fleet...

+++++++++++++++++From Alliance High Command to all Alliance and Allied vessels+++++++++++++++

All ships, be advised that the most recent batch of 'My Ecstasy' (ME) brand ice-cream should no longer be issued or consumed.

Reports from multiple ships indicate that the batches shipped to us have been tainted, although we do not have specifics at this time. Symptoms include total loss of appetite, depression, uncontrolled rage and an inability to look at earlier ME brands without dry-heaving. These symptoms have appeared in all 17 flavours currently available - red, green and blue - and affect all species equally. There are even reports of Krogen falling ill as a result of consuming this product.

We have attempted to open diolog with Bobs Wonderorium (BW), makers of said product, in an effort to resolve the situation. However after initially dismissing our concerns outright, they have yet to provide any statement as to the reason for the problems. High Command is continuing to seek a resolution, and is looking at other suppliers as a fall back.

Until then we can only advise all ships to secure all remaining stores of this product and refrain from consuming further supplies.

Keep holding the line.

Alliance High Command out.

Another side effect of ME3 was that ME2 - a good game on its own - just felt pointless in the end. Like it was a speed bump between the two games that actually "counted." The plot didn't really matter. The characters all got thrown to the wayside. They had nice little moments, but it was basically a cameo for each.

I had imagined ME3 would have been Shepard running around all pirate-like with the combined crews of ME1 and ME2. Like a little mercenary band. Dodging both the Alliance and Cerberus to actually put things right. That was the impression I'd gotten from the end of ME2. "We do things my way from now on," basically just translated to "I'm going right back to the Alliance!"

I didn't like the addition of the gay characters either - and I'm a lesbian. Mostly because it was obvious that they were there for the sole purpose of being love interests, and any additional characterization came after. Function before personality. It showed. Felt a little shallow. I met Traynor and instantly went "NNNnnnnnnope!  I know what you're up to!"  But I suppose that's for the character/romance forum.

When I was little, my mom used to play video games for me; I would sit and watch while she beat the bosses. Then I would play the easy stuff. Now I play everything and she sits on the couch and just watches. She knows the story, characters, what's going on....
She doesn't mind me playing at all...though she didn't like all the blood that stayed on your character on DA:O.

Well, I hope they say something soon :)

You're right. The Tali thread has 1696 pages. Oh, look, we are almost there~
And I highly doubt they got to that in less than two weeks.

He's right at the end, even if they do fix this, they have planted a seed of distrust in the fans. I know for sure that even if this is fixed, I'm not pre-ordering another Bioware game again, and if/when the next dragon age comes out, I'll wait for the reviews come in before I buy it.

Bioware is on the edge of losing a great fanbase, and a very large amount of future sales.

As it is IF this is a stunt by Bioware <_
This is Sacred, holding the line.
