While holding the line, is it proper to ask the best way to kill a Banshee in ME3? The Damn thing is dangerous! In the last fight with a group of them I had to run around a lot, and spent some good medigels. And died a couple of times, probably...

I began to think if there was no bug with their regen or shield.

I'm assuming that ME3 will have a new ending. Otherwise I'm probably uninstalling them.

I wonder if George Lucas liked the endings? I'm going to ask him on Twitter. He has experience in destroying great things.

So true....*sighs* <_<

What exactly did mr Lucas destroy in SW universe? Apart from jarjar binks who ruined the entire episode one and some of the next 2.

It's more than what he did to the prequels. It's what he has been doing to the originals! That includes changing to original script and title of "The Return of the Jedi." And considering the Ewoks were suppose to be Wookiees....but you know Ewoks appeal to kids more and therefore easy to market. And which one could actually bring down an Empire? Hmmm....And the most famous example the whole Han shooting first situation...

There are SO many examples I could get into...but I won't. This is about changing ME3 not SW......

SO HOLD THE LINE! :wizard: There is still hope for ME3.

Oh I am going to enjoy this....

"While we have no doubt that Mac Walters and BioWare's talented writing staff will continue to do the series justice"

Hmm...yeah, right.

Too be fair, they did just fine up till the end. Too bad the end is what sticks with you the most.

I was going to say that, but I thought saying only one sentence was cooler ;)
I LOVED the game...up until the ending. Then...

Someone get on that! <3

If someone could give me the font used on the banners I could make one myself in photoshop. :)

Anyone?

By the way, (and this is a true stoy, sadly) the day I finished Mass Effect 3 I ended up with me throwing up violently for the first time in years, followed a few hours later by a massive attack of diarrhea, also for the first time in years, and during said toilet moment I actually had to puke again, causing me to run torwards another toilet with trousers on the floor. (no way I'm sticking my head in the toilet which I just scarred for life). Not the proudest moment in my life.

But it's probably all just one big coincidence.

...sounds more like food poisoning... although I didn't need to read any of that... :(

Mmm... I'm starting to feel a little outclassed here - all I can offer you guys is some of the local moonshine - mind you, it is very good at doing what acohol does best, so it might not be such a bad idea [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/bandit.png[/smilie]

Nothing wrong with Skype drinkage, I do it all the time ^_^ With bros and sis's from another forum. Don't usually post here tbqh. Also, internet people seem to have more in common with one another, since one usually meets folk on forums about specific things (i.e. Mass Effect!) you all have a common interest in.

None of my friends in real life even own a game console, and I'm completely obsessed with gaming. Which necessitates the internet with all it's glorious people.

I'm on my 3rd whiskey. Things are starting to seem so blissfully good. Ah, sweet weekend.

Holding the line with a Particle Rifle X in one hand and a drink in the other. Robodog is scouting ahead for news.

Sounds like a bad case of stomach flu. Hopefully it wasn't the game, but it's possible. Some are saying they have developed similar symtoms to PTSD. I couldn't sleep, and was really sad yesterday. I'm happier today, but I still can't make myself play a game (and I have Kingdoms of Amalur just started, and still haven't finished Skyrim).

I hope they do something about this ending, it's the first time I've been this excited about a game and then felt so apathetic so quickly.

The ending, in the space of a few minuets, deflated entirely any urge/desire/want/need to replay this game 13 more times (which I had done with the previous two instalments).

I think I will play this game again one day but it will be for the game play, not the story. I guess I see why they thought this was the best place to enter the trilogy. As a stand alone game It's great, the ending is even fine if you look at this as one game on its own, but not as the conclusion to a 100+ hour tailor made trilogy that started in 2007.

After reading what Casey had to say about the endings it seemed to me they wanted to deliberately deliver an ending that would disappoint a lot of people just so that people would be talking about their game for a time to extend the hype. The people who were new to this game, and had just played ME3 would be perfectly content with the ending, might even find it interesting and thought provoking, but the long time fans would be ticked off and cause a bit of a stir. It's a decent business decision in theory but a bit of a kick in the teeth to long time fans.

Regarding the person who decided to take legal action:

While I can understand this person's frustration at feeling mistreated by Bioware/EA, and I will also be honest here, and say that there is a little portion of what's left of my soul which is egging him on, I also believe that it is the wrong thing to be doing at this point in time.

As so many have pointed out here, this isn't the time to be petty, or to let your emotions run wild and cause you to do things you may regret - any time spent feeling anger or hostility could be better spent doing something more constructive, and the money that is now being spent on legal representation and so on would perhaps be better utilized in the form of a donation and so on.

For the rest of us, I would ask but one thing - as much as we all feel angry and confused and depressed, lets not get caught up in the whirlpool. Just keep it calm, keep it friendly, funny, and let's show the world our united front

/end dramatic speech moment

Drinking with online buddies isn't that bad. Try drinking AND playing online with said buddies, makes it even funnier.

Though I can't drink Whiskey. This and Sherry makes me sooo ill. It's not the amount of it, I just can't drink it at all. Even one glass of some red wines give me headaches next day.

That fight at the end felt kind of cheap imo. "BRUTES! JUST THROW BRUTES AT HIM!!" "NOW BANSHEES!! ANOTHER GO!"  I mean what were there like 5 or 6 Brutes and 4 or 5 banshees?

It's bad because it makes those that are peacefully and civilly protesting look bad. It is bad because it has only been around a week and someone couldn't control the rage to the point they did something that can make us all look like we are crazy. It was totally unnecessary IMO and could have waited until there was an actually, solid response from BioWare. It is jumping the proverbial gun.

It does nothing at all does the post say he did it for the movement, for you, for me? it say "I" the "report" is so off it's silly. My goat just said baaaaa "OMG the movement has employed goats hoping to make a stand against/for PETA" Going to the site to say hey thats not us is just silly let people see bad reports are bad.

All of that, plus the midichlorean plot hole and ewoks.  Especially ewoks.

I've just had a random terrible thought.  We are going to get an ending patch on April 1st and all it will be is replacing Liara with your LI in the black and white flashback.  That's what I'd do if I really wanted to see these boards light up.

Eh...I doubt it....but then again after beating ME2 I never thought it would "end" the way it did..so...I suppose anything is possible.

But my gut feeling is that Bioware is definitely going to do more than that. Though I would appreciate it if they fixed this too! :D
