Regarding the person who decided to take legal action:
While I can understand this person's frustration at feeling mistreated by Bioware/EA, and I will also be honest here, and say that there is a little portion of what's left of my soul which is egging him on, I also believe that it is the wrong thing to be doing at this point in time.
As so many have pointed out here, this isn't the time to be petty, or to let your emotions run wild and cause you to do things you may regret - any time spent feeling anger or hostility could be better spent doing something more constructive, and the money that is now being spent on legal representation and so on would perhaps be better utilized in the form of a donation and so on.
For the rest of us, I would ask but one thing - as much as we all feel angry and confused and depressed, lets not get caught up in the whirlpool. Just keep it calm, keep it friendly, funny, and let's show the world our united front

very well said. As noted previously, the actions of this one person do not reflect the atmosphere of this thread nor its constituent membership "at this time". Actions such as this should only be taken when all other forms of recourse have been exhausted, and should never be executed out of anger, hubris, or just plain "because we can". Keep it civil, but communicate. Hold the line, but be ready to negotiate. Dont let anger run your life. Instead, maintaqin the lightness that has been so greatly displayed here. it is the ONLY way we will win in the end..
