Well that's just it, we saw the rest of the game/trilogy, we KNOW bioware is capable of building a better ending to this. They made a goof in that one critical part, everyone screws up sometimes, all we're asking is that they fix it.

Or ATLEAST an explanation on why they did what they did and thought it was clever/smart/unforgettable.....I don't know.

Was just looking at the GI article that referred to what Priestly posted. I can't believe the amount of dull monkeys in the comment section. One said that he hopes bioware doesn't add in an alternative ending or DLC with more choices. DOES HE NOT KNOW MASS EFFECT WAS BUILT ON THE PRINCIPLE OF CHOICE?
I swear. Some people need to go on an involuntary bungee jump.

I think it did make us look bad though. not because he person made an official complain but the way it was worded to make it look like we were all behind it. We have had some bad PR and it wouldn't be much of a stretch for someone to read that complaint and start spreading it as being something *we* said.

I didn't read it, I just know what the FTC is for and it is a legitimate complaint ground for false advertising(something I feel did happen). It is not something that will be brought up to a judiciary or anything, they will simply mark it down most likely. It takes a big, big deal of abuse for something to happen(especially with how corrupt things are now). If it's like the BBB though they will grade business's.

I also don't mean to burst your bubble but there is already a divide in the media, my assumption is an organization already against the movement for profit motive would, possibly, pick it up... but they're already bashing us anyway.

I know, I was shaking my head at the same thing.  There were three AK according to Samara in ME 2, and we killed one of them, and now there's an entire monastery full.  /sigh

Oh wow, you're right. Where did all those Banshee's come from as they all were supposed to be those. And Samara can't lie.

The Asari are pretty private... they don't talk about their intimate rituals, unlikely to talk about the intimate ones where the person black widows your soul instead of a cigarette ;P

Usually studios empty after a release except for a small group of 'patch' staff.  They usually worked 17+ hour days right up to deadline and then cash out all their vacation for 6+ weeks in some cases.  So, it's possible, other than a small core group that some of them don't even KNOW about the anger yet... though most computer programmers have egos (myself included) so I'd probably be like "SOMEONE ELSE TALKED ABOUT THE GAME I MADE REFRESHREFRESHREFRESH" *snickers*.. so they might all know.

If you assume that all of this took them off-guard I'd be astonished if they hadn't recalled the team leaders in for a discussion by now. Even the dimmest of the managers at BW would realise that trying to hold in the storm for 7 weeks while everyone finished their vacation and returned to work would only make things worse. Heck, that kind of delay in giving a statement could practically finish the company - especially with Forbes reporting on the issue to potential investors.

The smart thing to do is to at least talk to the team leaders, figure out what could be changed, how much it would cost and how long it would take. So they could at least come out with a statement as to if they intend to tackle the problem, and give at least some idea as to how long it is likely to take.
